Paul Dawson has just released a short 8 minute video called "a sad moment in history" in which he displays a map of the world showing the countries of the world that are turning their backs on Israel and supporting a "Palestinian state". The image is indeed very sad and I think that this is another indication as to where we are on the prophetic schedule since it ties in accurately to conditions at the second coming of our Lord, at least 7 years from now. Here is how I get there.
Revelation 19 tells us that when Jesus returns to the earth at the end of the tribulation on a white horse that His robe was dipped in blood. Isaiah 63 tells us where He has been and why His robe is dipped in blood.
Isa 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
Isa 63:2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
Isa 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
Isa 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
Isa 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
Isa 63:6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
When the Jewish remnant call upon the Lord from Petra (Bozrah) towards the end of the tribulation period and look upon the One whom they pierced the Lord will swoop down to a devastated planet earth to protect His elect, staining His garments with the blood of His enemies in the process. But please look carefully at Verse 5 of Isaiah 63 which states that the Lord "wondered that there was none to uphold : therefore my own arm brought salvation unto me". You have to read the whole of Chapter 63 to see that the context is the protection of Israel and the word "wondered" can be translated "appalled" or "stunned" or disappointed. Clearly the Lord does not need anyone to assist in protecting His people or in bringing the campaign of Armageddon to a conclusion but nevertheless Jesus is appalled that there was no nation that stood with Israel at their time of need. Pauls map shows that America and a couple of small countries are still with Israel at the moment but maybe America, at the end of the seven years, will not be in a position to stand with them.
I find this map to be very significant in light of the end times teachings found in Revelation 19 and Isaiah 63.
Many blessings
