mike, some years ago I had an experience where I knew I was in God's presence. My life rolled by like a movie, and it would have been really depressing except that His presence was so big and shining and clear like a diamond. I saw my past with a clarity I'd never had before, but all I could focus on was Him. I don't know what it will be like when we first get to Heaven, but I believe that we will be so filled with love and joy and awe that we won't be thinking about ourselves, at least, not like we do in this age.

I've had this notion of looking for my parents, but they've gone looking for their parents, then I find that my grandparents have gone looking for theirs. By this point, I've figured I just need to go straight to Adam and Eve's, because that's where everyone will end up!
What would be the heavenly equivalent of a bucket list?

Venge, I'm just now seeing this. Just want to say I'm sorry for your loss, but am so grateful he knew and loved the LORD and is now in the presence of the LORD whom he loves.

I was having difficulty finding clean socks this morning. All my clean ones seemed to have holes in them. The verse Deuteronomy 8:4 came to mind. Deuteronomy 8:4 Your clothing did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years.
If The Lord can do it for 40years for the Israelites then He can do it for us for eternity.
Praise God in eternity there will be no more dirty laundry and that our white robes will never wear out or get holes in them. I always imagine clothes in heaven to conform to whatever it is we are doing at the time, for example we will be able to sleep in our white robes then immediately go for a morning run or tend our garden or worship Our Creator without ever having to change clothes.

Does anyone think we will be able to create worlds (with God's grace/help) in heaven? It would be cool to design a world a creator in honor of our Creator.
Writers create imaginary mental worlds all the time. Also my brother and I used to play a video game where we could create monsters and race them among other things.
Plus who wouldn't want to design their own puppy or other cute little baby animal. I'm think furry little triceratops.

Ha. I like that idea quite a bit. Plus, since we are made in God's image surely all of our creative utility isn't for nothing in eternity. We will have eternity to create.
