Blessings men and women of God! God bless you and I love you! I'm launching out in the deep to let down my net for a catch but I need some help to pull the net up! I am working through some things about the final rebellion and I thought I would get some input to see what God has shown you in regards to this topic. The overall question I have is "what is, if there is one, the connection between the 400 pomegranates that were on the 2 pillars of Solomons temple Jachin and Boaz and the final rebellion that takes place at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ?"
Now let me give some bullet points on what is leading me to ask this question so that we can be on the same page.
1. If history always repeats itself in accordance with what Ecclesiastes 1:9 and 3:15 says; and God has already told us the end from the beginning in accordance with what Isaiah 46:10 says then we can understand that the rebellion that took place in heaven with the fallen angels will be a repeat of the final rebellion at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ.
Like the Angels who saw God face to face and only knew good, those born in the 1,000 year reign of Christ will see God face to face and only know good. But a rebellion will break out at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ which will reveal the hearts of those who were born during the 1,000 year reign of Christ; just like there was a rebellion in heaven that revealed the hearts of the angels. Just like what happened in heaven it will be the same way on the earth. Some will stay true and others will rebel.
2. The rebellion in heaven caused 1/3 of all the angels to fall, thus it is safe to assume that 1/3 of all those who are born during the 1,000 year reign of Christ will rebel.
3. The number 9 is related to the angels and the rebellion in heaven. The reason being was that Lucifer was covered in 9 precious stones that were set in gold. Here goes the scripture for that:
"You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared." Ezekiel 28:13
It appears that the number 12 is associated with humans and Gods perfect order of governmental rule for us. There are 12 tribes of Israel, 12 apostles, 24 elders (2x12), etc.... Also the breastplate of the High Priest has 12 precious stones that are set in gold. Here goes the scripture for that:
"15“You shall make a breastpiece of judgment, in skilled work. In the style of the ephod you shall make it—of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen shall you make it. 16It shall be square and doubled, a span its length and a span its breadth. 17You shall set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle shall be the first row; 18and the second row an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond; 19and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 20and the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be set in gold filigree. 21There shall be twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. They shall be like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes."
I highlighted in red all the stones that are also mentioned in Ezekiel 28:13. None of stones in the third row of the breastplate are mentioned with the covering of stones that Lucifer had. It's interesting that the breastplate with the added row of stones was the 3rd one mentioned. Hinting again to the 1/3 of angels that fell in heaven, but are being replaced by human beings made perfect by faith in our faithful High Priest Jesus Christ.
4. Therefore if the number 12 is associated with human beings and 1/3 of those who will be born during the 1,000 year reign of Christ are going to rebel (if the pattern holds of history repeating itself) than we can see that the number 4 is related to the number of humans that will rebel. 1/3 of 12 = 4.
5. So based upon the covering stones for the angels and humans we can see that the total number of rebels for both classes of beings are this:
Angels 1/3 of 9 = 3
Humans 1/3 of 12 =4
Added together we get 7! Divine completion!
6. Now back to this number 4. I just did a teaching about the shadow that God put in 1 Samuel 30 that shows the 7,000 year history of man. And in that shadow God included an interesting clue about the final rebellion at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ. There were 400 young men that escaped from the slaughter of the Amalekites in 1 Samuel 30:17. Here is the verse:
"David and his men rushed in among them and slaughtered them throughout that night and the entire next day until evening. None of the Amalekites escaped except 400 young men who fled on camels." 1 Samuel 30:17
There were also 400 false prophets who sat at Jezebels table that escaped when Elijah called down fire from heaven on the top of Mount Carmel.
"Now therefore send and gather all Israel to me at Mount Carmel, and the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.” 1 Kings 18:19
The 400 prophets of Asherah aren't slain on Mount Carmel, only the 450 prophets of Baal are. The 400 prophets of Asherah appear later in the story when God allows a lying spirit to lead to the destruction of Ahab. That story is found in 1 Kings 22.
Thus out of the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses a matter can be established and I believe the 400 who escaped in Davids slaughter of the Amalekites and the 400 who escaped on Mount Carmel are a shadow of the final rebels that will be purged out at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ. The number 400 being symbolic (type/shadow) of the number 4 which represents the 1/3 of human beings that will rebel when Satan is loosed out of the bottomless pit to gather them from the 4 corners of the world and come against the camp of the saints!
7. Now I was thinking something but it just doesn't stick so hear my thoughts on this. If 1/3 of humans rebel at the end which is represented by the number 4, than that means 8 will resist the final temptation and 8 is the number of new beginnings that matches perfectly with the 8th day that begins when God makes the new heavens and the new earth after the Great White throne judgment. I was studying the 2 pillars Jachin and Boaz and at first I thought there was a possibility that there were 400 pomegranates on each pillar which would equal 800 pomegranates all together. But while the language is conspicuous in regards to the number of pomegranates I still think it teaches that 400 pomegranates were the total number of pomegranates combined!
So my question is what is the relation with the 400 pomegranates in regards to anything I just said? I believe one of the interpretations is that they represent the fruitfulness of the seed of Abraham that begin with the 400 years of dwelling in a foreign land.
"Then the Lord said to him, “Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there." Genesis 15:13
In Abraham all the nations of the earth are blessed. The 70 nations that are mentioned in the table of nations in Genesis 10 are represented by the 70 souls that went down to Egypt with Jacob to fulfill the 400 year prophecy of Genesis 15:13
"All the descendants of Jacob were seventy persons; Joseph was already in Egypt." Exodus 1:5
So to come full circle with my original question "what is, if there is one, the connection between the 400 pomegranates that were on the 2 pillars of Solomons temple Jachin and Boaz and the final rebellion that takes place at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ?"
If the number 4 is associated with the final rebellion of humans....why is the number 4 connected with the 2 pillars of Solomons temple?
