“The Hour”
The word "hour" in the bible is mentioned ninety four times. The only time it is mentioned in the Old Testament is all found in the book of Daniel. Interesting enough the book of Revelation contains the Last six times. In those two prophetic books we have a total of 11 mentions of the word hour.
The Hebrew word for hour in Daniel is the word sha`ah. It is Aramaic for (brief short moment.) The first five mentions of hour are in context to Babylon. Dan.3:6, Dan.3:15, Dan.4:19, Dan. 4:33, Dan.5:5.
No doubt the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar meant business for those that refused to worship his image because they were going to suffer quickly.
Daniel 3:6 “And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”
Also the last time “hour” is mentioned in Daniel was a very memorable and sudden moment for Belshazzar the king of Babylon when he saw the writing on the wall.
Daniel 5:5 “In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.”
The New Testament word hour is the greek word hōra. It also means a sudden moment of time. Furthermore, the last five mentions of the word hour are also in context of Babylon. (Rev.14:7,17:12,18:10,18:17,18:19)
Revelation 17 is the vision John saw of a powerful mysterious woman called “Babylon the great.” She is in absolute control of a ten horned beast and suddenly she loses that power with her destruction. Afterwards ten crowns are given to the beast. These crowned kings are unified together with a purpose.
Rev. 17:12-13 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
In Chapter 18 of Revelation we also see that the capital city of “Babylon the great” suddenly receiving destruction. Her economic power is gone.
Rev. 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
Rev. 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
Rev. 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
This last verse suggests that even those in the Middle East will morn for this capital city, perhaps because they know that no one will be able to slow the carnage of the beast alliances of the end times. Also it is interesting that this Babylon is destroyed with fire worse than a fiery furnace.
Rev.18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Furthermore, Jesus mentions hour four times in Matthew 24.
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
So how will it be when the Lord reveals himself? My friends I believe it will be a work day!
It will be another day at the grindstone.
Luke 17:28-30 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Btw, when Babylon the Great is destroyed. God’s millstone will bring her violence from above
and
Babylon’s economic millstone will not be heard again. No doubt she will lose her indebted slaves.
Rev. 18:21-22 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
Listen to the Prophecy of the Daughter of Babylon the Great Isaiah 47:1-11 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man. As for our redeemer, the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke. And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it. Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children: But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments. For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me. Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
Revelation 18:7-8 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire:
for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Time's up.
We just got one day closer to leaving the bondage of Babylon the Great.

Interesting stuff BrazenLaver ! As you mentioned Nebuchadnezzar I wanted to bring up something my sister and I discussed this morning about him. In Daniel 4 he was warned 12 months before to repent. He did not and 12 months to the day he was given over to be like a beast for 7 years. After that he was fully restored. Is he a picture of Israel being turned over to the beast for 7 years and if so, is there a 12 month warning to them? |

More than likely klb. We had the eclipse then massive hurricanes! They are 2422 days apart from each other which is about 6.73 lunar years or 6.64 solar years. If you forward 12 months as a warning the numbers are very similar but what do they mean? |

or was the great American eclipse the 12 month warning to Babylon klb ? I need to watch the video on the other thread about America being Mystery Babylon, but right now I’m seeing it differently. David Jeremiah makes a good case for why the woman riding the beast is the same as the second beast in Rev 13:11-18... ie the false prophet. My mom read me a section from his book, but I don’t own the book myself and don’t remember his argument exactly as to why he believes these two entities are the same. It was something about the mingling of politics and religion in the new world order... the beast system is political and at first is supported by the religious system (2nd beast). But in the end, the political beast turns on the religious beast: And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. Rev 17:16-17 These verses seem to me to say that God is using their own evil against them. His purpose to throw down Babylon will be accomplished through the political beast who hates the prostitute (who is the 2nd beast/false prophet according to David Jeremiah). One thing I do remember clearly from his book though is that the “prostitute” is counter to the “bride”. Think about those two terms. We have the church, the bride, who will be taken up to the marriage supper soon. The prostitute however... the one who pretends to be the bride... will be left behind. This kingdom will be thrown down. If the bride is the church, who is the prostitute? |

That's an awesome find from Daniel 4 KLB. I was thinking that Nebuchadnezzar (a gentile) could possibly be a model for the tribulation saints. The world has been given signs and warnings last year, including the USA eclipse, and those who refuse to repent and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ will enter a 7 year period of tribulation.
I also noticed that it exactly 12 months from the time that Jupiter exited Virgo (9th Sept 2017) and the feast of trumpets this year. Now with this Daniel 4 discovery and the Genesis 18 connection that I posted in the "signs in the heavens" section I get the sense that since the amazing signs, eclipses and convergences last year there will not be more than a year until the actual fulfilments (ie: Rapture then Tribulation). This was also the same pattern in 2BC and 3BC during the signs in the heavens and the birth of Jesus, signs and fulfilments confined to within 12 months.

Babylon the Great is none other than the USA. The 7th king is here. Signified and sealed by Donald Trump:
1. being 70 years, 7 months, and 7 days old when he took office.
2. Winning the electoral college vote by 77 votes
3. Receiving 304 electoral college votes (3+4=7)
4. Being 700 days old when Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948
The 7th king only continues for "a little while"....meaning that he will not finish his first term.
Why?
Because Babylon the Great is utterly destroyed on the cloudy day by the 10 kings and God Himself.
Everything is about to happen. This is the end. There's no doubt in my mind. All the pieces are in place. Once the Father tells Yeshua that it's time to get His bride, the buttons will be pushed (nuclear war), Gog with all his hordes will at the same time try to attack Israel, and the temple in heaven will open!
It's the day of sudden destruction!
There shall be wailing in all streets and crying in all the highways! Alas! Alas! Yes, the mighty man shall cry there bitterly! And he who is courageous amongst the mighty will flee away naked in that day!
But for those who are planted on the Rock the LORD will draw us out of many waters and we will be protected in the Fathers house. We will be ordained for our eternal priesthood just like Aaron and his sons were in Leviticus 8 and we will sit down and dine for the marriage supper of the lamb!
This is all about to happen! Praise God for giving the children of light SO MANY signs so that we will not be caught off guard when He comes! But we will be found watching, waiting, and praying when He comes like a thief in the night so that He will find us worthy to escape the hour of trial which will engulf the whole world for that brief moment in time. Amen.

He gives proof after proof after proof after proof!
He even takes the time to call out the biases people have about America being Babylon the Great, namely because of nationalistic pride and bad teaching.
When our citizenship is in heaven then American nationalism should pale in comparison to our true home with Yeshua forever! Don't get me wrong though, I love America, but i'm just a pilgrim and a stranger on this earth. The King is coming and I am EAGERLY expecting His soon arrival! Hallelujah!
Yes, It's sad that the mortality rate will be 100% for anybody left behind in America, but we are talking about the END of the age! When the 4th horse rides 1/4th of all the world will be killed!
That's at the least over 1 billion people dead from the cloudy day judgment! I mean the whole WORLD is going to shake at the presence of God when the rapture happens! If the people at Mount Sinai were on the verge of death when God came down to give the children of Israel His law, how much more will mankind be in fear and DIE when God comes to bring JUDGEMENT on the cloudy day?
It's a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God! And it's sad that many people who played around with God will be destroyed without remedy on the cloudy day. Hell follows right after death when the 4th horse rides, thus there will be no chance at anybody repenting before they die in the cloudy day judgment. When you make your bed hard you got to lay in it!
I've relentlessly witnessed to my friends and family about whats coming and those who could care less continue to scoff at the soon coming return of Jesus Christ. It's sad to see so many people oblivious to whats about to happen. But what else can you do but continue to witness and pray? We can't force anybody to believe. So I continue on the course.
But one day soon the temple in heaven will open and the chips are going to fall just as God ordained them to. No one will be able to charge God with folly and He will always be hailed as being "holy, holy, holy"! Hallelujah! May we all be found in Him on that day. Amen.
