Here in the North VA / DC / MD area we are receiving 6 to 12 inches of Snow for our second day of Spring this year.
In PA, NJ, NY some places are expecting close to two feet of snow, for their second day of Spring.
Something tells me that "Snow Showers" is not what is meant when people speak of
"Spring Showers brings May Flowers....."
Chalk this up to another anomaly to this weird year ..........

as my husband likes to then reply ... "and you know what Mayflowers bring..."
End Times weather is fun. You never know what you might get.

in the 6 hours since the snow started here in NJ, we have zero on the streets. I know our forecast is for the storm to intensify later today into tonight, but the fear mongering from the media and the government is just too much. A state of emergency was issued in NJ for the entire state last night at 8PM, meaning only essential vehicles were allowed on roadways. Why was this necessary last night when the snow didnt start until 6-7AM today? It wasnt!

People were cancelling meetings, rescheduling activities and guess what?!?! We didn't get a blizzard. We barely got any snow. Granted, the initial warning was for half the province, but still, three day in advance, and less than half the original expected amount of snow!?!? I woke up to more snow this morning after a warm, rainy day yesterday. If places that are warmer than me are getting snow, I can't complain about what I am getting. Good thing I keep the winter tires on until at least April 1.

We've gotten at least 7 inches of snow today (Central IL). But it's supposed to be near 60 by Tuesday.
