China's first space station, Tiangong 1, will fall out of orbit sometime in the next few weeks. Since the space station is uncontrolled, it is not possible to predict either the date when it de-orbits or the location it will fall over. Estimates for the re-entry range from March 24 to April 19. Here's one article about it; there are others... www.theguardian.com/science/2018/mar/06/chinas-tiangong-1-space-station-will-crash-to-earth-within-weeksThis struck me as interesting because Tiangong is Chinese for "heavenly palace". It is also one of three space stations currently orbiting Earth (the others being the ISS and Tiangong 2).

The timing is also interesting. It seems it coincides with the Jewish Passover where some Jews are planning for a Paschal Sacrifice..... Check also here

More detailed and updated information on the soon crash of Tiangong 1 here. The expected timing for the showdown is now narrowed down to Easter/Passover. I wonder if this is another god incidence... You can track the space station here.

The station has now re-entered. On Easter, which is interesting, but it came down near Tahiti in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, very close to where spacecraft are normally decommissioned. I was half-expecting it to re-enter over the Middle East with seven large chunks and ten twinkly explosions. Oh well.
