I have no pretty graphics to share; nor do I have endless mathematical equations to present ....
What I do have is a thought -- that occurred to me sometime ago -- and as we move closer to the day -- the thought continues to return....
So take this as some "FOOD for Thought" -- chew it over some -- and make your own opinion.....
A few years (maybe many years) ago -- a bunch of church people I was associated with -- were bound and determined that Easter Sunday should have it's name changed to Resurrection Sunday....
Not sure what happen to "that movement" but as far as I can tell almost everyone still calls it Easter Sunday ..... I generally always try to use Resurrection Sunday -- whenever I do mention it .... but that is a topic for another day....
Here is the idea .... This Year Resurrection (Easter) Sunday occurs on our calendar on April 1, 2018 -- OR April Fool's Day.
What IF the Rapture (Harpazo) occurs on Resurrection Sunday?
We are told in 1 Cor 15:52 ....in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed....
And after all what is Resurrection Sunday -- the celebration of Jesus being raised to Life ......
What IF Resurrection Sunday --- becomes the RAISING TO LIFE of ALL Believers .... those who have died and we who remain?
And for those who believe God has a sense of humor ....
What better "prank" -- then when people first hearing that millions have "disappeared" .... go , yea, yea -- ha, ha April Fools!

Hi brother, That is a good and interesting idea. We have had that thought come around our house from time to time too.I hope you are right! Seems like I remember a verse that said "The fool has said in his heart 'There is no God.' "

I like a good April Fools. That would be the ultimate. Lol.

Well, unfortunately it wasn't the 1st.
That being said, resurrection and Sunday may not be the same days (this year). I was browsing through the appendices in the Companion Bible last night. Mr. Bullinger seems to think that the Passover sabbath started on Wednesday night, then the resurrection was Sunday morning. I find it interesting that that matches the most common times for church services to this day.
Anyhow, that would mean that the Passover on Sunday would put the resurrection day on Thursday (if I'm translating the whole sundown beginning of day thing correctly) this year. I would expect something significant for the church that day, given the number of significant things happening on significant dates. Maybe the rapture, maybe not. We'll know soon enough.
A related issue I haven't heard discussed is related to the kingdom age. Jesus proclaimed that it had begun when he rode into Jerusalem. The king had arrived, therefore the clock had began to run, if only for a few days. Did it run to the crucifixion? The resurrection? The ascension? Pentecost? Does that mean that Mr. Matson's timeline could still be basically correct because the kingdom will come off pause in the coming days and fulfill the seventieth week of Daniel?
The ascension is 40 days from the crucifixion, yes? Leaving ten days until Pentecost. As the book of Revelation was written as prophecy and one church promised ten DAYS of tribulation, could this be significant?
That's all I have for now. I'll try to remember to log back in before May 20th to see if anyone else has anything on this. Or, you can tell me when you see me! Maranatha!!!
