Hi All,
I'm wondering if any additional information has been revealed on the Revelation 12 sign that we saw this past Sept? Specifically, can those who are astronomers or who have astronomy programs/backgrounds tell me whether or not the serpent showed up to devour the Man Child? Was it spotted in the solar system? If so, can you tell me what date this occurred on?

butterfly, the closest astronomical explanation that I saw presented after the Rev 12 sign came from schooldad3 earlier this winter. Here is the page and the links to the uyube videos of his presentations. They are technical, but short and are a pretty cool teaching of how our solar system works, history on ancient astronomy, and lays out a pretty good case for what's going on up there with serpens and draco etc...then I think he posted in other threads, so there may be more videos than what is listed here:

Hi barbiosheepgirl, thanks so much for the information. I'll check out schooldad3's comments and videos. Do you know if the Rev 12 sign was complete this past fall or if the second half (where the serpent attempts to devour the Man-Child) took place? If not, does this mean this sign doesn't match the one in Rev 12? Is it possible that it's split in two different time frames? Any thoughts you have are greatly appreciated. The local prophecy group I participate in has been tossing this idea around and we just can't seem to make sense of it. Thx again for all your help. Blessings!

Your group butterfly5777 and all the rest of us here at Unsealed... Well, I am not savvy enough to operate the Stellarium program so leave that to others. I will say this: The Heavens declare the glory of God with speech and knowledge. I believe as we keep adding days to Sept 23 2017, we will look back and see a pattern that played out with the planetary conjunctions, by which Biblical constellation they were in, what the moon and sun were also doing in them, and we will glean more info as folks bring us their findings of the ancient world interpretations of the stars, which seems to have gotten lost or adulterated by the cults. schooldad3 had some compelling info about the eliptical and this entire pattern of the moon, the planets, their visibility as horns or heads (crescents or waxing to full status), and the location of the major and minor constellations. The stuff he had on the white boards was like someone decoding DNA...it should be simpler than that? but we no longer navigate by the stars or follow the stars as God's glory. So, I believe we will only understand so much as we are blinded to it. And it is possible it will be revealed to us with a better consensus when it IS the correct sign. Rev 12 1,2 has been fulfilled in the heavens as stars and planets in my heart. A grand reminder of Jesus, Emmanuel...God With Us To be picky, I guess verse 2 was played out with Jupiter yet we literally did not hear her cry out in pain... These things being signs does not mean they have a timeframe attached to them. It may be that the dragon part happens 3.5 years after..Now that would be interesting. I am sure someone is looking into that. Also, if you keep reading rev 12 it flows with a general story, and then seems to repeat itself with more detail... I love star gazing, but figuring out all of the planetary alignments, mathematical equations, dates, numbers, Stellarium, etc. is beyond my pay grade! but we no longer navigate by the stars or follow the stars as God's glory. That there must be a gap of time in between verses for this to be a legitimate sign for our time (i.e., before the rapture). Some think the entire thing needed to show up all at once, and since it did not, it's not worth putting any stock in at this point as a major sign. But, the overall timing of it's appearance, along with other things (Rosh Hashannah, the year, Jubilee, world events, other solar activity, etc.) leads others to believe differently.
Our recent discussion had to do with the portrait that was painted of Obama and the timing of this. We are bantering about whether or not there was any sign in the Heavens related to the serpent of Rev 12 when this painting of him was released. Many passed this portrait off as nothing and no big deal... just bad art work. But, to us, this is foolishness. The fact that he commissioned a portrait by a man with ties to the radical Left and Black Panthers, who's former work depicts people holding "decapitated heads" is alarming and telling. Also, that he would be seated on a throne ... almost like he is floating in mid air... in a garden surrounded by flowers of fertility, with a very stern look on his face, his arms crossed in defiance, with six fingers (watch the movie Princess Bride) on his left hand, with a sperm coming down his left temple, along with the odd shaped pattern in his hair... made all of us sit up and take notice - especially since Obama thrives on hiding his true agenda in plain site. Michelle's portrait is equally disturbing and has its own symbolic elements of evil (white dress - bride, odd patterns on dress, etc.)
We simply do not believe the timing of the publication of this portrait was random or coincidental. That's why we are wondering about the sign in the Heavens and whether or not the serpent appeared.
