I know I’m fairly new here, but I feel this needs to be reinforced. Beware of clever circular talk that’s sounds intelligent and authoritative, but goes against the very core truths and teachings of the Bible. Please try not to get into ongoing conversations that are only meant to deceive. In this time faithful Christians are going to be increasingly attacked by all kinds of Satan’s people trying to get us to doubt and turn from our faith.

Yes. And I would add, pray for your brothers and sisters that they would have wisdom and discernment.

Thank you SOG. My intent was to get up this morning and write this post. Thank you for doing it for me.  1 Corinthians 15 is a wonderful summary of what it is we believe. If anyone needs a refresher, this contains the core. EDIT: And then 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 is a good follow up. Remember, we need to be patient with those still learning the Truth that we might bring them along and help make their understanding more complete...always in love. Pray for them as Natalie indicates we should. |

This post should be made a "sticky" at the top of the forum. Deception right now is unchecked and out of control in many places where people congregate on the internet to talk about even just the Bible in general.
Making the rounds recently is the "hell isn't real" lie.
