First time I have posted, I have not seen this discussed and it seems too big to ignore. Cape Town South Africa is the first official major city to declare they will be out of water shortly. The issue is so urgent even MSN such as CNN has picked it up. Sources:

Curious how everyone feels this development ties in with the famine and pestilence to come (lack of water obviously famine and pestilence grow rapidly)

We should not forget that Israel currently leads the entire planet in technology to purify salt water to fresh drinking water. If major cities begin running out of water, this technology could make them the richest country on the planet. Making countries want to attack them all the more. Sources on Israel tech:

Again, would love feedback on all of this. It feels too major to ignore, Cape Town has about a total metro and city population of around 4 million people running out of water by April!!

I saw info regarding this subject posted in the comments on the Unsealed main page. I was surprised when I saw it that we really haven't heard about these shortages and water rationings earlier. It seems like all of a sudden, the world is seeing that water can be a precious commodity depending on your location.

I know it has been hammered into us for decades that we will have water shortages but did anybody other than Israel figure out how to combat this effectively? Looks like no. Just another potential reason for a future war against Israel to steal the technology.

I definitely see the link between lack of water and the spread of disease and pestilence. Have you seen the Life Straw before? Apparently it will filter bad water into drinking water just by sticking the water through it. Pretty amazing tech in filtration.

Welcome joe! I didn’t realize israel had that capability. That could certainly be a very interesting piece of the puzzle. I think there is some prophecy about Israel becoming wealthy... in the Left Behind books, the authors made it have to do with oil. Water purification makes a lot more sense though.

The theory about the oil comes from this verse where Jacob is giving his blessings to his sons - some believe it to be a prophecy as well.
Deuteronomy 33:24 "And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil."
I have heard that it (Asher's land)was very rich with olive oil as well but haven't studied that.
The technology for clean water and desalinated water is priceless for sure.
