Just saw this and did some googling around. Came here to expect it to be a front page featured article. Check this out. Date is January 31st. 31st of Jan Hebrew calendar is the 15th of Shevat. Definitely worth watching, didymus! I had to look up what Shevat means. (I'd heard about it as Rosh Hashanah, and I'm sure there are subtleties but I'm about out of break time.) What stood out to me in my little bit of research was that this is when the trees produce new fruit. I'm assuming that means trees in the orchards. Wonderful parallels. Thanks for pointing it out  |

I have been following Barry Scarborough for quite some time now... I find him to be very down to earth, very Gospel-centered, very evangelical, and many of his dreams have come to pass over the years. He feels like God has confirmed to him that something significant will happen on the 31st.

sawdy this is an interesting observation! I have used a sort of model for a number of years that might be useful. Words in Scripture can have levels of meaning. The earth, the sea, the sky can be taken literally and sometimes that's enough. I also think these locations can carry a spiritual meaning. For me the fish of sea can represent the vast masses of humanity that seem to move about at the direction of the tides, currents, and unknown forces of the sea. This is from a human perspective. Spiritually it might represent people who move through life with little interest or knowledge of God. They live by their wits and by chance. The earth represents to me the place where people begin to grope for God. They might explore eastern religions, new age ideas, go to various churches, etc. At least there is a desire to answer the questions about the meaning of life. Mountains represent the highest place a human can go on foot to reach God and have their questions answered. Moses, Elijah, Jesus all showed us this picture in action. And then there are the heavens. We know there are levels to the heavens. In Matthew the term kingdom of heaven is often used but it is literally heavens plural, not singular. This means there is lots of room for growth in our relationship with God. That's my little way of seeing in a nut shell. Your notice of the tides, which are affected by the moon, certainly reflects the intense events happening in this world. The sea people are agitated, angry, fearful, and so much more.

Now here is something to think about: in multiple passages of Scripture it says the sun will be darkened and THEN the moon will be turned to blood BEFORE the DOTL. The Day of the LORD has obviously not started yet, but the sun was darkened on 8/21/17 in a big way. Could this blood moon be the next piece?

It was well written, enough so that I could feel comfortable sharing it on my Facebook. I think this bluntness is what definitely needs to be heard by those who are choosing not to watch and those who are in denial of the times we are living in. |
