All About Heaven

SPECULATION ON HEAVEN BY SOMEONE WHO JUST UNDERSTOOD THAT SONG OF SONGS 2 IS DESCRIBING HEAVEN, NOT EARTH. When, because I am tired and it is the end of the day, and I am old, I allow myself to think about Heaven and what Jesus has been doing since He ascended, was glorified and started building mansions. There has got to be a better way to invite people to actually think about Heaven. But here is what made me glad...That Jesus did not start building our mansions until AFTER He had spent time being a human. He has experience at it. He knows what a corruptible body can do and He knows now how to make an incorruptible body do it better. I mean, I am sure He tested stuff immediately. I mean this INCORRUPTIBLE HUMAN IN HEAVEN was new. He had to be testing that new Body out before He built stairways...Right? From His time walking around during the Roman Empire, He knows that some mansions are beautiful on a lake front. He knows other mansions are beautiful on a hilltop surrounded by grape vines, He knows others are beautiful only surrounded by amber waves of grain. He has seen the architectural prowess of Herod's builders. Do you get this? Heaven is going to be like earth in a way. Oh, now here is when I have to picture heaven like a flat plane. On the flat plane He has caused mountains to grow, and there is water, plenty of water and there are rivers that flow, and fish, and earth that actually sprouts plants that spread their scent wafting through the winds. No oceans though. Lakes yes (I mean over yonder is a lake of fire) but no oceans. Here is my point. We know that eye has not seen and ear has not heard...but what we are going to see will be amazing to our glorified eyes and Jesus will know how to make them work spectacularly. The sounds will be spectacular and hopefully without the constant tinnitus that drives me crazy. I know why Jesus designed His process of glorification so that He did not have to wait and become 65 on earth to do it. Hah! You don't think Jesus laughs? Ever? Anyway, I was reading Song of Songs 2 and it spoke of flowers growing from the earth. I know that there will be some who think that this means the earth, the globe earth, the blue marble. No! it means dirt! And I think there is dirt in Heaven because that is what the flowers are growing out of in Heaven and that is the exact picture that presents itself for the Groom and Bridegroom in Heaven, during the tribulation. Yes. Yes. The streets are made of gold and spending time in the city there will be plenty of gold to walk on...but dirt...Lord I want dirt around my mansion, please Lord.

What I described is just my speculation as to what is on the other side when we are raptured up through the firmament. It won't be a sea, a simple gold sheet, or any one thing. Jesus created this earth upon which we currently walk in 7 days (actually less ... things were ready for fish birds insects and man after 4 days). How long has He had to prepare this thing? Truly when I read Song of Songs 2 I found myself in heaven realizing that the words I was reading were describing something that I have not seen yet and I suddenly realized that when I do see it, my mind will go right back to Song of Solomon 2 and those words will be expanded to be descriptive of what I can not yet describe. The firmament is amazing. Don't need Psalm 19 to know that. It is strong! It divided the waters. It supports the throne room, it supports a city with gold streets, it supports the building area for the colossal New Jerusalem that has to have been going on for some time. It supports the sun moon and stars even the wandering stars. The other side surface of the firmament, I speculate, will be much like, in a three dimensional way, the surface of our earth. Why? Because the firmament goes all the way to the south pole. That is thousands of miles saints. I love the thought that there will be plenty of space (I mean flat space like we have now) to explore after we are raptured. Being FE makes more adjusted to what Heaven will be like. Of course there will be a remedial firmamentography class that ball earthers will need to take. It will only take a second and then we all be in one accord. That is the biggest miracle that God will perform at harvest at the end of Pentecost.}
