What is the point of this :
www.mars-one.com/When we haven't even been to the moon?
I even believe this :
We're being set up.
I am going to create my reply to your post by letting you know this is a hard topic to discuss. IF is going to be the word I will be using a lot because this topic involves conflicting theories. My reply is similar to what happens when you are in debate class and are given a side to argue.
The biggest problem with trying to craft a response to a post is when the topic exponentially becomes greater than the original topic. I keep seeing this again and again on this forum. Many things tie together and it is hard to limit yourself to one topic. I did watch the entirety of the video link you have provided, but I am going to (try to) limit my commentary to the first part of the video as that is the part dealing with space.
If one believes that we have sent people to the moon, the next step in our "how to achieve something greater" drive that humans have is to send people to Mars. I disagree with the video that it could be to "send a women to the moon". A women or a man is still a human. The next big step is to send humans to a place they haven't gone before.
My husband loves space "anything". My honeymoon involved spending two days at Kennedy in Florida. He has watched all the Neil Degrasse Tyson shows on Netflix at least twice. My trips to the movie theater are always to see the latest space flick. If I was to ever question the moon landing while he was in the room, I am not sure of the repercussions in my marriage for doing so. Some topics aren't worth spending too much time on.
In the video you shared, the narrator spoke about some scripture (I believe it was in Job) where it basically said "who are we to question?". After reading the entirety of Yardstick's math class thread, I agree with this. We are humans trying to understand what is beyond our understanding. So what is the truth and what is the fiction?
In Yardstick's thread it was discussed on how a 3D object would appear to those in a 2D world. If the object was a cube, it could be seen as a point, a line or a square. All of those answers are correct but are missing parts of the information.
I can see from the video one side of information and from other sources a different side. Which is correct?
I agree that there should be better representations of the blue marble. Especially when Neil Degrasse Tyson says the globe is "chubby". Where is the chubby marble? Is the image of the earth offensive that is is better to remove the chubby and project it onto a perfect sphere? But that is really what the blue marble is. A projection on a sphere using data. I noticed that they didn't say they used pictures, but used the term data. Interesting.
I believe there is a lot of disinformation circulating and we need to know what to focus on. It is hard when there is the information overload (and disinformation overload) all around us. What is right? What is truth? What is lies? What is propaganda? What are half-truths?
Over the past year I have come to the conclusion that there is a lot I don't know. There is a lot I am not going to know. And I need to become comfortable knowing that I don't and won't know everything. This brings us back to the Garden of Eden. Eve was tempted with knowledge and we are forever being tempted since then.
I am not saying that all knowledge is bad but that there is good knowledge and bad knowledge. We lack the ability at times to discern what is what becuase we are seeing God's creation for the eye of the created and not of that of the creator. This is why we are limited in our human understanding of many things. This is why only glimpses of what is to be and of heaven are provided in the Bible; we cannot comprehend the Glory of God and how amazing heaven is.
So I guess I am trying in a way, to encourage you to be okay with not knowing. To not spend your time trying to make sense of whether space travel is or is not possible, the shape of the earth, or any other rabbit hole you may feel that you are venturing towards. Spend more time in the scripture and learn to understand what God is applying to your life. Seek to have a better understanding of God's word. Spend time memorizing God's word and seek to share it with others. That is where our focus should be.
I just wrote that last line, not necessarily for you, but for me. I think that God has been speaking to me as I write this response and that the answer I have provided may not necessarily be for you but for me. Wow! More to ponder on and pray about as I go pick up my kids after school today. God bless!

Thank You for your reply. I agree & I will take your advice to heart. Only when we get to heaven will we know for sure.
Perhaps one day we can say, " awwwww! it was flat after all! " or " oooops! so it's actually oblate spheroid , etc "
Is FE a salvation issue? No.
So yes, i should spend more time on the things of God which matter.
