Before I begin I will acknowledge that we've all seen various "words of God" from people that don't come to pass and some where one person's future predictions is contradicted by another person's version where they can't both be true. I was not given a rapture date and would be skeptical if I was given all the recent failures. But what I received was very encouraging for perseverance and knowing that God will see me through what may well be a difficult period of unknown duration and we can still be certain that what we're waiting for is indeed closing in.
I have been fascinated by the Judah ben Samuel prophecy for around a year (if you don't know what that is google it, I'm sure most readers will be familiar with it). It's not Biblical but when 3 of 4 parts have been fulfilled it can raise expectations for the last part to also be fulfilled. It seemed that it required a 2017 rapture (still not out of the question, there's a post on one of the boards making a decent case for December 31). The Jubilees in the prophecy seem only to have been fulfilled to the year, not the day. I was looking at a Youtube video recently where it suggested of the likelihood that the years in question where based on one of the Hebrew calendars, (there are two, one civil and one religious, one begins in September and one begins in March can't remember which is which but anyway the timeframe is wrong for the September calendar and if we enter 2018 it's wrong for our calendar. However the March calendar doesn't begin until 3/19 so if we go any time before that, the prophecy can still be fulfilled. The prophecy didn't say specifically "rapture" rather it talked of the Jews entering their Messianic age so another possibility (although seems unlikely) is that the Jews can enter their Messianic age somehow prior to the rapture or maybe they already have somehow. But the most logical interpretation seems to be that the rapture kicks off the Messianic age).
Although this discovery raised my hopes of going very soon together with the upcoming 70th anniversary of the modern state (a common "generation" interpretation) I did feel some of this excitement tempered by the Spirit. I felt that God would neither confirm nor deny a rapture in the next few days or months and we have all seen dates come and go, getting frustrated as a result and even questioning the end times/rapture realities. I've only been waiting for a pre-trib rapture for about 2 years while some people have been longing for decades. Not that I have to wait decades, the suggestion seemed to be that this was not the case but there may be a bit more waiting, even for a few years. Then again it could still happen tomorrow. Be ready for any possibility regarding timing was part of the message and get on with living (kind of been in a zombie like state waiting for the rapture to happen) and use any remaining time wisely and prayerfully.
Although I am not American (from New Zealand) I have been watching the American and Middle Eastern situation closely. Around the last election there were a couple of seemingly contradictory messages that many people seemed to be getting from God. One was basically that God had appointed Trump for "such a time as this" while the other was that the nation would meet its doom under Obama. Obviously they couldn't both be true or could they? (I'll get to how this could be the case). As election day neared Trump seemed down and out but people still said it was in God's hands. Another theory was that Trump would win but Obama would find some way to declare martial law. I decided, against God's advice, that if Trump lost it was doom, gloom, apocalypse and rapture, so I would invest in it by way of a $1000 dollar NZ bet for Trump to win if he lost I wouldn't need the money. My reasoning was I would be out of here should it not eventuate, if it did I may as well make some easy money. Unfortunately instead of betting on him winning the election I bet on him winning the popular vote because it was paying slightly better (5.4 vs 5). I didn't understand the electorate system until about a day before the election although I was aware that Bush somehow won in 2000 despite losing the popular vote. Anyway the result was that I had wasted the money, paying the price for a bit of ill-advised gambling, not something I do regularly but have done the odd bit from time to time, never with a sum that large. So Trump was in and I was poorer, not something I had accounted for but a moral lesson not to try and profit from prophetic knowledge).
Anyway that betting bit was a bit of a sidetrack although it shows I definitely do have moral struggles. But anyway between the election result and Trump taking office there were still countless Youtubers predicting doom under Obama and that he would manage to enforce martial law (possibly the rapture would give him such an excuse) but of course none of this eventuated. However there still seems a possibility he could take over after the rapture with definitely Pence out of the picture and maybe Trump (if not Trump could easily be got rid off, Pence is what stops him getting impeached for the imaginary dirt the left thinks they have on him).
What God seemed to be telling me was while he was not giving me dates but to keep looking up and focus on the news and that Trump was indeed destined to be president at the time of the rapture. One source, Now the End Begins, had predicted a Trump victory in a video the day before the election on the basis that Trump had promised to move the embassy to Jerusalem and recognise it as the true capital of Israel and Jewish property. He pointed out that Bush had made the same promise and not gone through with it but that Trump had more integrity coming from a non-political background. Around the middle of this year the same guy was worried that he may have misread Trump as the promise was not going ahead which could also have explained some of Trump's difficulties at the time. He said that God had raised Trump up and was capable of bringing him down if he was just like all before him. But of course the big news this month is that Trump made the announcement which seems to be leading us ever closer to both the construction of the Third Temple (with the mount under Jewish control) and assault on Israel intensifying leading to the peace deal which we must be out of here prior to it.
Some of the videos I had seen tied Trump to the Last Trump and God has told be to believe this is legit. Many if not most videos are false but I feel led to believe that the connection here is real. Trump's full name means World Mighty (Donald) Last (John, with John being the author of the last gospel and the last book of the Bible) Trump. He is indeed world mighty with his current position and Trump-Pence seems another possible play on words (Trumpets).
If you were to go on what the lamestream media says, Trumps days are numbered. Any day now he will feel the pressure and resign or if he is too stubborn they will manage to impeach him. Not gambling these days but I think that if any odds are being offered he's probably odds on to be out by the end of 2018. The reality is that much as they want to get rid of Trump the problem is that they can't without finding a way of dealing to Pence as well. Under him nothing would change that the loony left want changed plus he doesn't have a questionable sexual history for anyone to bring up and has a much firmer anti LGBT stance. Of course Trump's candidacy was considered a joke. He was in a crowded field of Republican candidates most of whom seemed to fit more within the traditional Republican mold but somehow he fought his way to the top there despite his party's attempt to sabbotage him (showing their true colours). In the elections he survived more sabbotage attempts from dems, RHINOs and the media as well as his own shortcomings and blunders. But when God appoints someone nothing can stand against. And I feel Trump is God's appointment until such time as the rapture. If that means he has to run again in 2020 (which many would consider a lost cause) he will stand and defy the odds again. If somehow (very unlikely) we are still here by 2024 there will be some type of national/worldwide emergency mandating Trump to stay in office as Roosevelt did in the war. Think the chances of that are minimal, if world wars or other apocalyptic events are taking place we're gone (the Rapture has to happen like a thief in the night or a time of some level of normalcy according to my understanding so if there is a world war before the rapture it would need to be resolved and some restoration happened which would take a period of years that we clearly don't have). Right now it's relative calm before the storm, the left think that they can somehow get rid of Trump and then start to undo his "damage" and advance their globalist agenda under the guise of climate change.
I'm not going to be drawn into the anti-Christ guessing game. When I was getting started with end time stuff I thought he was Obama. Seen several candidates since then, some still saying Obama, also Erdogan, Macron or Trump's son in law. My personal hunch is that this is not a productive game for those of us who will be out of here and he may well be someone who is a complete unknown at this stage. We've seen the arguments, Muslim vs Jewish vs New Age, Middle Eastern v European, Man v Alien v Nephilim v Demon etc. The only thing we can really do is leave information somewhere that will help those left behind identify him.
I do strongly believe that Francis is the final Pope and the false prophet and the Lord seemed to be confirming this. He fits the role to a T, a charismatic leader who has deceived the bulk of professing Christians today plus his efforts to unite religions. I did expect at one stage we would be gone by 10/31/17 and he would somehow unite the remaining church to start the one world religion. However that timing may have been just a little too obvious. Clearly if he is the false prophet his age puts a time limit on things but it may not be as great a limit as we might expect. Even if he was 100 at the time of the rapture he could be given youthful strength and vigour by the devil to fulfill his role so I'm framing things more by Trump's presidency. Also the false prophet may be someone who carries on what the pope his started but I'm quite confident the pope is the actual false prophet.
I am currently out of work due to various factors and in my country I don't get enough to live on (have a small amount saved up) and as God has indicated that I can't rely on the rapture happening within days (though it still might) I will need to find something. I know God will provide, he has seen me through some difficult circumstances and provided, but finding work will be a challenge and balancing it with glorifying God in all things and preparing material (print and online) for those left behind. I'm not good at arguing or conflict but am surrounded by professing Christians who are politically left, don't believe in the rapture or end times and who I am fairly certain are going to be left behind. I'm just trying to act "normal" while preparing for what's coming up. Places like this help me stay sane. I will do a prayer request later and put more detail in. But I do feel that God has shown me that I can have hope in this season of his return. I had told him I was definitely ditching watching by the end of 2018 (in spite of all that's happening-there's only one thing I want to see happen, God!). But I feel I can wait a little longer although if I'm still here when there's a new president I might have to ditch everything). I suspect we won't see 2019 but am prepared to continue to watch things unfold and just maybe get some courage to witness to the unsaved people around me.
