Good article!
I was trying recently to have a conversation about where AI is headed with someone and they just stared at me blankly. They (along with many, many others) have no clue to what they are working towards with AI.

sawdy - Ive tried to explain the "end times meanings" of AI, or what I like to refer to as the "sky is falling" method. However not many people want to hear God is going to be soon closing out on the current model of world order. In my experience with conversations like this we have to "dumb it down" to encourage people to think about what it means to them and how it will impact them. Present the facts of what is happening and being achieved with AI and how ludicrous it sounds to actually worship a man-made machine. That's what I've found at least (so far).

AI has come along way.I remember reading an article last week, which reported that a self-learning robot broke out of a scientific research facility 3 times before they managed to stop it. Nothing good can come from self-learning robots especially ones that look like humans. Many people I with are excited about AIs taking their jobs so they can have more free time, althought I think King Jesus will return long before we get to that point.
