--- SPOILER ALERT! This post reveals details in "The Star" movie. ---
On Thanksgiving, I took my oldest kiddo to see The Star. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've seen Hollywood butcher so many Biblical stories. But wow! It was very well done... I highly recommend it. And I couldn't help but notice many parallels to what you and I have been through recently as we've watched the development and occurrence of the Revelation 12 Sign. It also reminds me of the balaamic prophecies Gary wrote about earlier this year.
I'm writing down what I can remember, and ask all of you to correct/improve this list, as well as adding your own items. I was thinking about creating a short blogpost about it after getting your input.
Thanks!
- The Star is discovered. Some are excited, some don't care.
- The Revelation 12 Sign is discovered. Some in the Body of Christ are excited, some don't care.
- Bo (the donkey) wants to escape his mundane work and be achieve great glory by participating in the "royal caravan".
- Many in the Body of Christ want to escape their day jobs and achieve greatness in the world.
- As Bo escapes from his day job, pursues The Star, and finds himself in the home of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus in the womb.
- Many of us in the Body of Christ have been pulled out of the world by the Revelation 12 sign and into a close relationship with Christ.
- As the Baby grows in the following months, Bo grows closer to the family.
- As the Revelation 12 sign as developed, many in the Body of Christ have been drawn closer to Jesus.
- Herod learns of the prophesied King, and sends his minions to destroy Him and His mother, but they escape each time.
- Satan knows the Man Child is coming, and wants to devour Him and pursue His mother, but we receive protection.
- Bo experiences hardships and almost leaves the family to join the royal caravan, but decides to stay close to pregnant Mary.
- For many of us who see the Revelation 12 Sign, though we are tempted into discouragement, we choose to remain close to Him.
- Bo meets Ruth (the sheep), who was kicked out of her flock for telling others about, and purusing, The Star.
- We have all been brought together, scoffed at, and some even kicked out of their churches (I know of one) for teaching about the Revelation 12 Sign.
- As the birth is occurring, God supernaturally enables Ruth to speak to her flock, and they finally understand.
- As our birth is approaching, God is supernaturally waking up many in the Body of Christ.
- Ruth and her flock defeat the enemy just before he finds and kills Mary and the Baby.
- God will ultimately deliver us from the enemy through the harpazo and by the testimony of the tribulation saints.
- The Star illuminates the birth of Jesus, and Bo realizes the supreme value of the journey compared to the royal caravan.
- The Revelation 12 sign illuminates the rapture, the journey of which is far more valuable than anything the world can offer.
Okay... your turn! Correct, improve, and add!
