My Star Tracker app on my phone brought up a notification earlier that the Leonid meteor shower was peaking tonight. So, I opened the app just out of curiosity and was checking out the position of all the planets. The planets that we all have been watching the most, of course, have moved on a bit. Saturn is still in Ophiuchus, but Mercury is not far away on the edge of of Sagittarius. Mars is now squarely in front of Virgo, and if you take that view, then the Dragon is awaiting the birth. Moving on down/up the eliptical we come to Jupiter and then Venus which have just passed their close encounter (from our POV) as they move in to the constellation Libra. As I was looking as Jupiter and Venus, something hit me. I cannot now find where I learned it, but I understand that Libra was once known as the Altar(?), and right now, tonight, with the new moon, Venus and Jupiter stand before the Altar with the Sun and the Moon as their two witnesses. Isn't that kinda cool? The Sun and Moon are right there, right this very moment, tonight, in Libra, side by side, watching Venus and Jupiter approach the Altar! The Father is awesome!

Very interesting indeed stormyknight ! Reminds me of the two olive trees and lamp stands before the Lord in Zechariah 4:11 & Revelation 11:4! What tickles me is the inversion of the verse numbers for that prophecy!

You are probably right. That's where I learned idea of Mars being the dragon. I'm taking in so much these days, I forget where I got it!

After messing around with my star scope app, I saw that Jupiter, "the Bride", reaches the Altar right at the winter solstice, Dec 21-23. I thought it was interesting, though I don't know if it means anything.

My older brother turned me on to the book "Gospel in the Stars" or "Primeval Astronomy" by Joseph a. Seiss (copyright 1882), and ever since, between that and this Rev. 12 sign stuff, it's given me a whole new outlook on viewing the night sky. We used to lay out under the western Kansas sky at night as kids and watch the stars and watch for new satellites (because it was a new thing!! lol... I know, I'm dating myself), but, I had no idea then, growing up catholic, about the Mazzaroth, about the story that the Holy Father wrote out in the high Heavens! They don't teach that stuff in CCD, "they" don't know that stuff! (I mean no offense to my CCD teachers, they were just people, parents usually, in the parish 'helping out'. It's not like they were part of a conspiracy to warp young kid's minds against the Holy Father.) This all just blows my mind and I feel like a little kid again. I want it to be summer and to lay out under the stars all night til I fall asleep and dream of flying around in them..........

Too many of them just parrot what they have been told and don't read the Bible at all. When I was going to school (and I went to RCC schools for 12 years and then 2 yrs of Nursing school) there was a lot of mind control going on. The nuns really put fear into us to not read ANYTHING not Catholic or Heaven forbid, step inside a noncatholic church. I still see some of that going on in my family.

Stormy Night, me thinks you looked up on a starry night.... as the heavens declare the glory of God is more than mere semantics..as the heavens to declare the Lords story and truths. But your book, from my recollection was not the author you gave. Gospel in the Stars is quite famous and very truthfull......IMO Its not astrology but the Lords story written in the stars..... PS) The Lord does mention many of his constellations in Job etc... including Mazzaroth.. Keep looking up, do note Regulus and the Coming Prince ( Orion) and note the seven sisters (Pleiades....) two corners of the Universe

Stormy, consider Leo in Virgo.. a rather suggestive conception. As yuor title drew me HEREIN, as our 'Two Witnesses do go to the wedding Feast of the Lamb. Others have written extensively if I remember right about all the Hebrew marriage rites that have to be followed in the End Time before we meet our Bridegroom (Jesus) for this wedding feast (of 45 days) Its a big big celebration... We are the Bride, He is the Bridegroom.... AS above, so below in the constellations, so Leo is usually referred to as symbolic of Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah with His virgin Bride...us..symbolic of Virgo... for no false doctrine has entered into us... and we are pure (sinners, only valued because of His sacrifice and GRACE) Just a thought, and a nice one at that.... For He is COMING (The Coming Prince)

I want it to be summer and to lay out under the stars all night til I fall asleep and dream of flying around in them.......... Stormy.... I tried to look up my supposed author for Messianic Story written in the stars...and got this www.google.ca/search?q=Messianic+story+written+in+the+stars&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=NJYkWteIIoKg-gSM_4PwAwWow !!! numerous authors, numerous books because it is a truth... The Messianic Story of Jesus is written in the stars. Hallelujah. Mind you each author might be trying to take credit for this truth, but who cares as long as the message gets out... Ha... I mean the original author, will always be the Lord as He set it up.. in the FIRST PLACE.. The Lord placed the stars in specific positions for SIGNS, not just for pretty lights in the night sky.

My Star Tracker app on my phone brought up a notification earlier that the Leonid meteor shower was peaking tonight. Stormy, maybe study a little more on the Leonoid meteor shower that happens every mid August as the Earth goes through this meteroid belt at the same time every year. Its a SIGN in my opinion.... and not just a coincidence.. I would suggest the time between our Two Witnesses deaths til the Lord comes, is exactly 3.5 days, as exactly stated in Revelations 11. Hence we that follow them as they follow the Lord, know exactly we only have 3.5 days more to go before the Lord's RETURN or SECOND COMING. THEN, we only have to make it 3.5 more days..... they die at dusk, and arise in the morning three days later....... The Leonoid showers, are part of this SIGN.... mind you that is way off in the future as all the other events have to happen in chronological order.... wordst of times but BEST OF TIMES for us CHRISTIANS. Praise God. Whoops. Leonoid is in August, near August 10th, and yet your post seems to have been done in November. Leonoid is Leo, is August... anyway...

Heh, well, it may not be the best app, but it helps me identify what I'm looking at most of the time. I'm not able to pay for apps because of the expense, and free apps are easy to delete on my company phone if the company feels I shouldn't have them on there.(so far no problems) It hasn't warned me yet about the upcoming Geminid meteor shower, but it's got a few days yet. haha My wife and I have noticed an uptick in meteors in general, since we go to and come home from work in the dark everyday. No specific direction, just small ones here and there, but almost every morning and night.
As for the book, Gospel in the Stars, Joseph Seiss definitely gives credit and glory to the Holy Father throughout the book, although he calls him 'Jehovah', which I just overlook, or replace in my mind with 'Yahweh'.
