I would be very surprised if Israel disarmed their nukes. If they agree to that AND actually go through with it, they are sitting ducks...

They will probably give nukes to Saudi Arabia instead.

As we know from history, there has never been a treaty signed that was honored, so while this treaty may get signed, I don't see Israel disarming their nukes or giving them away either.

I would be very surprised if Israel disarmed their nukes. If they agree to that AND actually go through with it, they are sitting ducks... Prophetically speaking, that's the whole point. They can't defend themselves (peace and safety) and so for something so monumental as what is prophesied in Isa 17, Psa 83 and Ez 38-39 it will be really obvious that it is God protecting them.

Just read about some resistance from Egypt to join the Saudis against Iran ArticleProphetically Egypt is mentioned, iirc, but I think is off on its own, except for a few incidents where it plays a peripheral role.

This is getting very interesting. I'm amazed by how quickly Salman's rise in S.A. has changed the whole dynamic. As steward of Mecca he calls the shots in much of the Muslim/Arab world. To me, Israel giving up its nukes makes perfect prophetic sense. They will think they've made peace with their neighbors, seeking the approval of man and not God, but in the end they will be left defenseless as Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 get underway (well defenseless, except for the fact God will have their back). www.unsealed.org/2017/11/trump-administration-close-to-unveiling.html

And, lets say that the protection is not just for Israel, but also for the palestinians? And of course, this sets up a very nice conflict of interest...

Its a peace treaty, and Israel, I mean the country that calls itself Israel; has openly stated that it has also agreed with **** also to help defeat Lebanon and Iran. Its just a war pact rather than a peace plan as with the Covenant of Daniel
Saudi has been having a unilateral war, bombing and embargo-ing food, medicine etc on poor Yemen but wants more battles elsewhere, just like ***** and seeing Syria has been won by Syria.... the next opponent is Iran... and again Russia, a vile country will step in and we will have our prelude to the Covenant.
The Covenant is with ten countries exactly and is made by the Prince of the Covenant as the whole world eagerly awaits a breakthrough to stop the insanity.
