1 in 9 odds huh... What an intriguing number. uh oh, is there something more to the numerics/odds? I have heard about the number 9 being part of the whole Tesla theory. Thats all I got tho I was just thinking that the adversary tends to 'taunt' humanity with snippets of the truth mixed with lies. You can see this in a number of movies lately about super heroes or greek mythology, where there are blatant references to the nephilim, including a possible war between fallen angel factions that occurred before Noah's flood; but most people don't see them because they are in the dark about the Angel Theory of Gen. 6, and so cannot draw a picture of (what is most likely) the root of most mythologic systems. Thus, the 1/9 might be a taunt for how much of the earth's population will rapture out, disguised in a tv commercial about the lottery. |

I could see that too. Being able to homeschool my kids we were able to talk about "the mighty men who were of old, men of renown" and mythology. It was interesting.

Recall that there are approximately 7 billion people on the planet. One may assume that the majority of christians will be found in the United States and other english speaking nations, with smaller populations in India and China, and the Romance Language speaking nations (due to catholicism). From this it could be easy to surmise a catastrophic crippling of the US' ability to respond to any international incident. Also, with the sheer amount of population decline, there will be massive geographic areas of non-muslim nations which are depopulated. The result would be a clear explanation of why the US and other countries do not play large roles in the Tribulation. There is no one there to play a role. Oh, and 1/9 of 7 billion is... 777,777,777 people... The population of the US is 300,000,000+ by comparison... assuming 1/2-2/3 are raptured... that's about 200-250 million of the 777 million... so you get a feel for whether 1/9 is a reasonable number... |

If approximately 1/3 of the 1/9 are coming from each of the places I described, 777 million people is easy. So you can see why I find 1/9 'odds' on the lottery commercial an intriguing number... |

A related thought just occurred to me: The taunt in the message could be "Its a total lottery for those who get raptured'. No one knows who will 'win'!
Also, look at the background with the space ships 'rapturing' people... and the whole message is that it's better to play the lottery!

Oh, and 1/9 of 7 billion is... 777,777,777 people... oh come on -- have a heart -- make that 777,777,778 people raptured world wide  -------- Also agree there are sure many, many movies out about "children of gods" / plus the many movies about aliens ..... It may not "surprise" or "freak-out" anyone to have visitors suddenly appear.......... Only thing is will it be PRE or POST Rapture -- when the visitation happens? Remember, the "great delusion" -- could even fool the "elect" for awhile....... |

kjs Thank you for bringing that up! I have wondered about the elect - is it us and are we here for some part of the delusion? Or is it those who are saved after the rapture?
