I'm wondering if anyone noticed that the day the Texas shooting occurred coincided with the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church? (If I missed a posting on this on Unsealed or a mention of it, please forgive me.)
Also, did anyone happen to see that Eric "Church" sang "Amazing Grace" to open the CMA "Awards" this week?
Then, towards the end of the show, Carrie Underwood, who openly acknowledges she's a Christian, gave a tribute to those who've been killed in these senseless attacks, singing "Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling." The words of the song state: "Sinners, come on Home."
I didn't catch if there was another song in the middle of the show with a similar message.
I thought it interesting that this somewhat parallels the Book of Revelation and the 7 years of tribulation. At the beginning, the "Church" under "Amazing Grace is raptured and "rewarded."
At the end, God is calling "sinners" to "come out of them" or to "come on Home."
I find it interesting that November 12/13 (or true Last Great Day) is right around the corner - and this message was out on the airwaves 6 days beforehand.
Could this be another prophetic sign???
(For information on these performances check out the article at the Independent Journal Review or IJR.com.)

I was fully aware about IDOP during the Texas Shooting. It's also called for prayer again tomorrow on the 12th for prayer for the persecuted church ( idop.org/web/). Personally every day should be a day of prayer for our brothers and sisters being persecuted for His namesake worldwide.

My heart breaks for them and what they've been through and are going through - especially in the Middle East! It's horrific. I wasn't aware they were calling for prayer again tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know. I will definitely be praying for them!
