Good afternoon, Like many of you I spent this morning hoping that today would be our departure from this planet. And it still may be. My wife and I have discussed all the ideas presented and read many posts pointing to mountains of evidence that this eighth day might really be the day. We tried to remain open to disappointment but could not help but long so very much for closure. And then 10:50 AM Pacific time came and went. I took a sober look at Stellarium and yes, Jupiter had indeed crossed the line. Strangely I was not grieved but felt strongly that something very special had indeed happened. Jupiter had left the safety and nurturing of Virgo and was there by itself - and vulnerable to the attack of the dragon. Why has it not been attacked? Why have we not been snatched away? I offer this next idea only for your consideration. It is a new thought to me and I know there are those out there in our group who know a lot more than I do. Here goes... Perhaps God is waiting. Perhaps He has counted heads and His precious family is all ready to go. I do not mean to be disrespectful but it reminds me of two gunfighters standing in the street in an old western movie. The bad guy draws first and then the good guy in the white robe, er hat, takes him out with an even faster draw. I never saw the movie but a famous phrase comes to mind.."Go ahead, make my day." So what I am suggesting is that the next move could be the dragon's. What it will be I do not know but rather than looking for him in the sky, I think it might be wise to look for him on earth. That is where we are. We have crossed the thin blue line and taken our place with Jesus. Just as a number of heavenly objects have been suggested as symbolizing the dragon, there are many possible approaches the dragon on earth might take to try to destroy the people of Jesus. Any thoughts?

Given the current state of world affairs, there are too many scenarios that could trigger a world upheaval. We are in the season, the Church is waking up and we need to keep our eyes on Jesus as our redemption draweth nigh. Finish the race strong!

If Satan believes erroneously that we are now suddenly exposed and vulnerable, his nature will cause him to quickly move to exploit and destroy. The Lord God will respond even quicker with the rescue of the harpazo. Maranatha!!! |

I really appreciate the thoughts and verses that have been offered. You have helped me see that there is more afoot than meets the eye. One more thought crossed my mind this evening that is probably not original but might be worth sharing. Why didn't the dragon just destroy the woman while she was in labor? Seems like a powerful entity like this would then kill two birds with one stone.There are several possible reasons but maybe he WANTED the child to be born. If the major goal of Satan is to hurt God, what better way than to eat up His precious newborn child? As a parent I know how much each of my three children mean to me and how over-the-top deliriously happy I was at the birth of each one. They are my pride and joy. (My wife's too!) And to re-inforce this in our lives we have delighted in seeing our own son become a father, and we share his pleasure over his very own daughter. It is so comforting for me to realize we are each part of the apple of God's eye. And the sacrifice of His only begotten Son proves this great love more than anything else ever could. What a Saviour we have!
I didn't clarify it earlier but if this train of thought is accurate, we will be the target of Satan's vengeance. We have noted all the earthquakes, volcanoes, fires, and hurricanes that have happened recently but these are signs of the times from God. They are wake up calls to a sleeping world. Now we may be facing something very different. Thanks be to God who will take us home soon!

After posting my last thoughts, I went to bed. But I switched the light back on as I felt I needed to tell you that the new member called "hopeful" is one of my beautiful daughters. I am so glad she joined these discussions. You will enjoy her!

I could have called myself gkpjunior  I thought of this a little while ago, and although the coffee hasn't kicked in yet, I'll share it anyway. I forget who it was on here who said that Jesus fulfilled all of the feasts when He was born, died, and rose again. So in a sense don't have to be dependent on them. The other thing I thought was about labor pains coming upon a pregnant woman. I've never been pregnant, but I've been with women who were, and even though they don't know what minute that baby is coming, they Know that baby's coming! Have a good morning, everyone |

I think you're referring to disciple4life although it is fairly certain Jesus fulfilled the 3 spring feasts and the fall feasts are yet to come. But a quick search around here and you'll find several threads on that. |

Thanks for the comments, Mike! Some day I will learn how to use those blue letters and inset boxes and make those little faces appear. For now I focus on my spelling! I never saw any of the Terminator movies but it is interesting to see connections like you have. There are probably hundreds of possibilities out there. Gotta make some popcorn and warm up the recliner!
