My husband and I love to read together in our spare moments, and we just finished Jonathan Cahn's latest book, The Paradigm. It was an awesome book, and I highly recommend it to you all. I won't give away spoilers, but will say it has to do with a Biblical "template" that has some fascinating ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, and other figures of recent history.
I am wondering what books you all might recommend as being great reads... What are your favorites? Any genre is welcome!

I've listened to many of the videos made by these two brothers in Christ and have been very impressed, grandpaskitzo! Nice to know they've written some great books!

It has been awhile since we have read them, but my husband and I both enjoyed Dee Henderson's books about the O'Malley's. I also enjoyed Joel Rosenberg's book The Auschwitz Escape.

Unbroken (Louis Zamperini biography). The book is my all time favorite book, excluding the Bible of course.
The movie was awful and flat out skipped zamperini testimony and how God worked on Louis in so many dramatic ways. I tear up just thinking about some of the chapters honestly

A great biography is: Married to a Terrorist by Loreen Janzen pagemasterpublishing.ca/product-brands/loreen-janzen/Synopsis: Loreen shares the story of how she grew up in a christian home but after falling in love with a catholic that her parents didn't approve of, she was swept off her feet by a Lebanese Muslim. He kidnapped their kids and took them to Lebanon and also was literally a terrorist although he never was prosecuted as such (and actually sued the government). It is a sad story but shows how faith in Christ helps us to overcome any situation. Loreen is a lovely lady, that I am please to know as she attends the same church as me. You would never know her story unless you pick up her book as she is a quiet person but full of Christ's love.

Sawdy's post sparked my memory of one I read recently -- Hiding in the Light by Rifqa Bary. It's her story of how she left her Muslim family for Jesus.
