The Torah calendar web site still has today, 10.01.2017, as "Day Ten of Month Seven" in Israel.
Leviticus 23 : 26 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the Lord.
This day would end at sunset in Israel, tonight, 10.01.2017, at 6:26pm, which converts to today, 10.01.2017, 11:27am, EST
10.01.2017 is also Sunday, the first day of the week. The Lord rose from the dead on the first day of the week :
John 20:1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb.
The first day of the week was the time when the early church gathered. (Acts 20:7) This is still the practice, today. Being the first day of the week, many believers would be in their Sunday meetings around 11:27am, EST.
Colossians 1:18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
The Scriptures below seem to link the Lord's resurrection with the resurrection of the church :
Romans 6:5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, ...
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
1 Corinthians 6:14 Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?
Ephesians 1:20 ...which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,...
Ephesians 2:6 ...and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus,...
Colossians 2:12 ...having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
