Does anyone find this funny and weird at the same time? I mean there all around the table and Lazarus is just reclining and chilling at the table, idk i found this pretty cool.
John11:38-44 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said.
“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”
43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
John 12:1-3
Jesus Anointed at Bethany
12 Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 Here a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him. 3 Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

haha, yes, they were a family interested in smelling things.
I wonder if Lazarus remembered his time in Heaven/Paradise and could tell them stories about meeting Abraham, Moses, Adam, etc.
Interesting also about the account of the rich man and "Lazarus" in Luke. There does not seem to be any reason to think this was the same Lazarus, as Lazarus of Bethany seemed to be fairly well off. But both are known for dying.

Well he wouldn't have been in heaven, because this was before Jesus ascended. So he literally would have been just sleeping waiting, I wonder though after he died the second time after Jesus ascended then if he is in heaven

He would have been in Paradise, where Abraham was.

Abraham wasn't in heaven until after Jesus was resurrected and ascended into heaven. He was in a form of paradise, in the bible it was called Abraham's bosom, which was a form of paradise, but it wasn't heaven or hell. When Jesus ascended He brought all of those old testament saints with Him into heaven

When Jesus ascended He brought all of those old testament saints with Him into heaven Yes, I believe that to be basically correct. However, I don't think the place itself is called Abraham's Bosom. Lazarus was taken to Abraham's bosom, ie, he was taken to Paradise, and Abraham "received him into his bosom" ie, he embraced him and held him close when he arrived, and was comforted by Abraham, who evidently, was the guardian of the place, or at least the leader and comforter of his descendants who arrived.

I wonder if this has to do with the barrier thing in revelation 5 Um, yes, we are talking about the same basic concepts, and what is exactly meant by these things.
