"A volcano previously classified as "extinct" in Russia's far east has woken up, and experts are now warning it could produce an eruption similar to the one that wiped out Pompeii and Herculaneum almost 2,000 years ago.
The Bolshaya Udina volcano is a stratovolcano located at the center of the Klyuchevskaya volcano group on Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula. It stands at around 10,000 feet in height and, until 2017 it was considered extinct"
"A huge column of ash was blasted almost five miles into the sky above the Indonesian island of Sumatra after an active volcano erupted. Mount Sinabung blew for nine minutes on Sunday, causing panic among the island’s residents."
From article - "YELLOWSTONE has been rocked by a vast amount of earthquakes in the past month – and it could be a sign the massive volcano is about to EXPLODE.
The Yellowstone volcano has been showing huge amounts of signs of activity in the past few weeks, with a staggering 81 earthquakes shaking the national park. Most of the tremors have been relatively small, with the largest registering as a two on the Richter scale. But some experts warn that sometimes the size of earthquakes is irrelevant, but the quantity of them could be more of a forewarning."
If America is the new Babylon and we are going to be destroyed before or during the tribulation, then this is one possibility of how. This volcano worries me more than any California earthquakes. It's been suggested by scientists that this one would literally be like a nuclear explosion with mass death and destruction right in the heart of the country.
EnochWalked: www.pnas.org/content/early/2020/07/21/2002655117 "yields for wheat grown in indoor vertical farms under optimized growing conditions would be several hundred times higher than yields in the field". Farming would be weird if this became popular.

Anon: Matthew 16:25 KJV 25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. I was thinking how applicable this will be during the time of tribulation.

EnochWalked: I'm hearing the explosive material was mostly ammonium nitrate (fertilizer?). "The chemicals were there for years found in an abandoned ship in the sea next to the port." Apparently the government was warned 6 months ago but didn't heed the warnings.

yardstick: not a nuke, but definitely a very large bomb. nuke clouds and shockwave dont disburse that quickly, plus there would be an EMP to knock out phone vid/electronics. not to mention the peeps taking vid would be dead from radiation

EnochWalked: "The explosion occurred three days before a U.N.-backed court is due to deliver a verdict in the trial of four suspects from ... Hezbollah over a 2005 bombing ... Hariri was killed by a huge truck bomb on the same waterfront". Weird timing.

Beloved: If it was a nuke, we'd also see third-degree burns everywhere and a whole lot of things on fire.
