A couple years ago, the Lord laid on my heart to study and proclaim the words of Ezekiel. I have not been as obedient in this as I wish. I did do one video about it, which is the first chapter. I don't know if I can do any more videos, but we can discuss it.

I do have chapter 2, but it is much poorer picture quality, and is unedited.

Yeah! Love Ezekiel.
I'll watch these this afternoon. Plus a rereading of the book would not go amiss considering.
But I'd love to jump around if it comes to that-- the study of Ezekiel's temple might be dynamite.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, watchmanjim! Wanna know something really awesome? On most mornings before my honey goes to work--unless he's rushing so fast out the door he doesn't have time to eat--I've been reading chapters from the Bible to him for our sort of mini-devotional time while he eats breakfast. I love reading the Bible in the morning, as it really makes an impact on the rest of my day. Anyway, for quite some time now, I've been working backwards through the Old Testament books, chapter by chapter, and we just completed the book of Hosea. Daniel should be the next book we read through together, but because we've done some fairly recent studies in that book--including an excellent Hal Lindsey audio series that I just loved--we're going to bypass that one for now. So on our next morning for a mini-devotional, we're ready to start Ezekiel Chapter 1! What great timing for your Ezekiel thread!

Watchmanjim, I loved your suggestion to look up the meaning of our names! I just looked up mine--so very cool! First name "Pure." Middle name "Yew" or "Archer" (yew being the wood used for bows). Maiden name "Battle Fire." My family's coat of arms shows a burning torch.
My husband's first name means "Follower of Christ," middle name "young deer," last name "Rabbit's Home." His family's coat of arms shows a farmer's pitchfork.

I don't read it to my husband. And I don't read the book from the back to the beginning. But I've been jumping around in the OT reading. Also just finished Hosea! Was thinking of Ezekiel to read next too! I haven't watched these videos yet, but thanks for posting them to the OP! I will for sure be watching later.

That's awesome, tiffanybw! Wouldn't it be so cool if we discovered more and more of us were preparing to read Ezekiel, and watchmanjim happened to alert us to this by God's hand to "let Ezekiel have a voice?" I think that would just be mega-awesome!

Well, what do ya know? Ezekiel was the first prophetic book I read through fully, excepting Daniel. Chapter 1 is awe inspiring. I read it whenever I need a healthy dose of the fear of the LORD.

Thanks, y'all. I don't know if I should try to do the videos or if simply doing them out in text here is better.

Thanks, y'all. I don't know if I should try to do the videos or if simply doing them out in text here is better. Personally I read much faster than I can watch a video so it would be a bit easier to keep up in text.

Good point.
Y'all pray please--I'm having massive trouble with both my Bible softwares, E-Sword and Olive Tree. Can't get either of them to work right. That severely hampers my ability to get anything done in terms of a video OR a text study.
