So far it seems that major events do not result in a new great awakening...I'm thinking of 9/11. People go to church for a bit, and I am sure that there are lives that are then changed, but nothing of great numbers. I don't know what it would take to wake America up. I'm not sure I would want to be here for such an event, but God is in control.

I for one do not want to be anywhere near the path of the eclipse, I have a feeling the earth is going to tremble I have been reminding the Lord of His conversation with Abraham over the past week. Far be it from You, Lord, to destroy the righteous with the wicked. Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? Of course He will. We who follow Yeshua have been given, by the grace of God, the ability to claim the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ as our own. He gave it to us. Surely there is a righteous remnant in the land of America that will cause the Lord, in His compassion, mercy and faithfulness, to withhold His hand of wrath until such time as we, like Lot, have been removed from the city. Thank You, Lord. I really hope so. It just would make a great example of judgment for an earthquake to happen when everyone is using the eclipse as a spectacle. It would be a great opportunity to show that God is in charge. Though it is just my pure speculation and that's all.

Delo, I have pondered similarly and in light of this weeks events surrounding North Korea I wonder if the opportunity (distraction) presents itself for there to be something catastrophic from that angle. I hope not but its possible.

interesting she puts the Chicolanti video in there. I found his information to be well presented and thought provoking. I began to look up other "eclipse warnings" and want to locate others as well now. I am not a fan of the Gemmatria likely due to my lack of exposure. I do think we have a difficult enough time properly sorting through the Word and applying correctly without confusion of the numerics. So when I speak to people I will use the moon and stars as witnessing tools.

Did anyone see the Prophecy Watchers video posted today about the Eclipse? Somehow they turned it into a rebuttal about the Revelation 12 sign as well and said people are setting dates again. I saw a few comments made saying that "most people researching the sign are just making observations and not setting specific dates" but they removed all of the comments that disagreed with Gary. Why would they feel the need to do that - why can't there be an open conversation?

Some folks who refuse to allow for any significance to be tied to the Revelation 12 sign are simply adamant about turning those of us who do believe it has great significance into date setters. They often won't even allow for the possibility of a high watch period. Sometimes I cannot help but wonder if some who are harpazoed will somehow, in that split second on our way up to meet the Lord in the air, be quoting their favorite scripture, "No man knows the day or the hour."

I keep wondering about that moment. The crazy part is, we won't be able to sin anymore when that happens, and so we won't feel proud that we were RIGHT and they were wrong. No "I told you so" moment. Or if there is, it will be good-natured. It's so hard to think what our new paradigm will be, since it will be so amazingly different from what we have now!
Reminds me of the dream I had when I was a kid, how my parents and sisters and I all went to Heaven, and were so happy, and the thought struck me, "I can't sin anymore. So--I guess I'll just try!" And sure enough, even in my dream, I couldn't even remember how to sin.

And sure enough, even in my dream, I couldn't even remember how to sin. That would be so cool ........ UNABLE TO SIN .......... ......... Your right about this "It's so hard to think what our new paradigm will be" ...... Reminds me of the book "Stranger in a Strange Land" is a 1961 science fiction novel by American author Robert A. Heinlein In this book the lead character (Mike) learns to laugh (or see humor) -- here is how he describes it. “I’ve found out why people laugh. They laugh because it hurts so much ... because it’s the only thing that’ll make it stop hurting.”
"But that’s not all people laugh at.”
“Isn’t it? Perhaps I don’t grok all its fullness yet. But find me something that really makes you laugh, sweetheart ... a joke, or anything else – but something that gave you a real belly laugh, not a smile. Then we’ll see if there isn’t a wrongness in it somewhere and whether you would laugh if the wrongness wasn’t there.”
Back (oh many moons ago) when I first read this I go --- UMM no that is not it at all..... BUT as I thought about it ... the more it make sense .... Try it yourself ... remember something you found really FUNNY -- and then see if there is a "WRONGNESS" within the funny story and whether if the story remains funny if the wrongness is removed.....
