I dream a lot. Technically more than I would like. I generally wake up exhausted after a night of dreaming. Earlier this year I had a dream that was different from my dreams. It happened after I started researching end times and was becoming saddened about rapture theory and the great apostasy. I was quite saddened and had been praying about the falling away, requesting the God send a revival instead as it broke my heart to see all the believers who were/are turning away from God. Around this time I had a powerful dream. In the dream, I was with my son and there was a full moon shining through my basement bathroom window. He had asked if he could sleep outside as his sister was at camp. The next scene I am standing outside under the save of my roof, watching a crazy storm of lightening strike the ground all around us with balls of lightning. I was panicking as a mom as I wanted to keep my son safe. I was able to reach him and somehow managed to "find" my daughter although she was technically many miles away at camp. The storm of lightening and strong winds was all around us and I held their hands and opened the door to my house to get to safety. The door opened and there was nothing but clam white and we were "safe". I woke up at that point. My daughter is going to camp for the first time this coming august. My son will be home with me at that time as they are different ages and are not going to camp at the same time. I did look up to see when the july/aug full moons are and it doesn't correspond with her week at camp. I did find it interesting that it was only myself and my children that were safe, that my daughter was with me even though she was technically far away. My husband wasn't in my dream at all. It was a very powerful feeling dream. Powerful in not like my normal dreaming. Powerful more like my Satan visiting dream I shared in another thread but not with and evil feeling to it. Perhaps it could be God speaking to me, but I haven't been able to decipher it much yet as the signs in it don't seem to line up to anything I have researched so far. Perhaps I had done a little too much heavy reading but I have always been a heavy reader and have read heavy every night since before that dream months ago and haven't had another powerful dream since. Any thoughts about that dream or any thought on how to get a good nights sleep (lol) is greatly appreciated.

Any thoughts about that dream or any thought on how to get a good nights sleep (lol) is greatly appreciated. I am a heavy reader, as well, sawdy--maybe another commonality with déjà vu? Books are better than candy to me, and my husband and I often read to one another while one or the other of us is working on a project around the house.
My thought about your dream is that the Lord may be encouraging you with an assurance that those you love will be provided for even in frightening times. I'm certainly no dream interpreter in any way, shape, or form, so that's just my speculation.

I dreamed a few months ago that I was being wheeled into an emergency room. . . .
As for not having dreams--you could entreat the Lord to please reduce your dream load to that which you can better handle--to give you more peaceful sleep, and needed rest. I don't know whether you handle dairy products well, but myself and others have sometimes found that drinking a glass of milk or other dairy product before bed helps one to sleep more soundly.

I had a dream this week that I've been debating whether to post, but it keeps coming to mind, so I'd like to see what you think. Have I just been so wrapped up in thoughts of eclipses and earthquakes that this is what came of it? I don't know what to think.
In the dream, I was on the grounds of a lighthouse. It seemed the lighthouse was inside my city, as it feels like I recognize the location being downtown--but my city is not on the coast. For some reason the lighthouse was right in the middle of downtown, yet it didn't seem strange for it to be there at all in the dream.
There were many people on the grounds with me, some shopping, some sight-seeing, some getting a bite to eat--just normal downtown activity. But as I looked out the lighthouse's ground-level window, I saw what looked like a lovely tidepool such as would be on the coast. There was lovely sand beneath clear, shallow water, which seemed to stretch quite a little ways. While I watched it, I saw a straight line begin to form in the sand starting at the end closest to the lighthouse and moving outward away from the lighthouse. My gut feeling after the dream is that the line was moving west to east, but I do not know for sure, as I didn't contemplate the direction during the dream. It just seems from my recognition of what the downtown area looks like that it might have been heading east.
Anyway, as the line formed, the sand began to be swallowed up by it, as if the sand was sinking into a crack. I thought that was odd, though I wasn't at first frightened by it. I pointed it out to some people that were nearby, and they looked at it curiously until I asked, "Do you think we had an earthquake?"
We'd felt nothing--no ground tremors at all. But when I asked that, it set in motion a flurry of activity. There seemed to be a panic as people began to consider there might be a tsunami. I heard one woman calling for those of us in the ground-level to grab everything we could and head to the top of the lighthouse. She was concerned that we might be up there awhile and need some food and things. People around me were carrying up boxes and bags of food, clothing, personal belongings. I remember there was a large box of batteries or flashlights or something that I was trying to carry up the spiraling stairs, but had to put it down on a side platform when others were in the way of going any further with it.
And then I saw cats--lots and lots of cats on the ground level. I wanted to rescue them so badly, and others were trying to grab them to bring them up into the top of the lighthouse. I saw my cat, Lily, and ran back down to get her. Then I started to run back up the stairway with her in my arms. Again I looked out a window, and this time I saw the ocean and a lovely beach. The ocean waters were moving quickly backwards, leaving bare sand. I shouted to the others that the tsunami was coming and it was going to be very big. We were afraid it would be strong enough to break out the windows and flood the lighthouse, and so we had to go up as high as we could climb.
There was a man in shock at the window beside me, looking out at what was happening. I tried to get him to come with me, but he was so immobile with fear, he could barely speak. I heard him say in hoarse voice, "We don't have time." I grabbed his arm and tried to force him to move and come with me. I told him, "Yes, we do have time, but you have to come now!" Thankfully, he did so, and though he was moving slowly upward, still in shock, we did manage to get to the top--with Lily too--where the others were gathered for safety.

Wow. Just wow.
Did you get a feeling from God that this was specifically prophetic, or do you think it was a normal dream composed of all the things you've been thinking about running around in your head?
I know it can be hard to tell sometimes, but do you have a sense?

Wow. Just wow. Did you get a feeling from God that this was specifically prophetic, or do you think it was a normal dream composed of all the things you've been thinking about running around in your head? I know it can be hard to tell sometimes, but do you have a sense? Honestly, I'm not sure and it's scaring me a little wondering, but there was a very strange thing that happened afterwards. The dream occurred on 20 July 2017 in the daytime while I was taking a nap before my husband got home. Unfortunately, I didn't follow my own advice about recording the time of the dream, as I got busy when he arrived. However, the same day, sometime afterwards, I saw your post in the "Healthcare" thread where you mentioned the Virtue Solution website. I was looking through the website, and I saw its page on creating a "micro-hub lighthouse," and my brain just about exploded. It's certainly sticking with me as a dream I'm constantly thinking about.
This is the page I saw from the website: thevirtuesolution.webs.com/the-vehicle

Nice. Well some of the elements of the dream seem fairly easy to put together as to what they mean. The question is, whether this is more prophetic in nature, or more likely to just be a dream where all these things you're thinking of are whirling around in your head. Lighthouse basically means letting your light so shine before men, being a source of the truth of Jesus and His Gospel. Going up the lighthouse to escape the floodwater seems to indicate that the light(house) has the way of escape by going upward. (rapture, salation, going to Heaven). The man who was too scared, whom you helped, indicates it is possible even now, to witness and proclaim the Help of Jesus' blood and salvation, and that people can still be helped. There are other elements that seem harder to determine. As for the cats, I don't know what to tell you. I know you love cats, but I'm drawing a blank at this point.

Thank you, watchmanjim! Those are very helpful thoughts on the meaning of the dream! I'm very puzzled about the cats, too...

So, I've been watching the YouTubes again...
Seems like everybody from all walks and stripes have been getting or having dreams about the rapture or confirmations. I used to dream as a child and through early adulthood. With all the convergence, I'm question, "WHERE'S my dream?!" I don't want to be presumptuous and ASK the Lord for one, they would just usually come. I am also wondering, 'did I not do something right?' Am I just not worthy? Am I gonna miss the rapture? I have a very vivid dream life, when I CAN sleep. I had one yesterday, but it wasn't of God, it was carnal in nature. I know we don't curse here, but I awoke sweating, thinking, Dubya-Tee-Eff?
Any of you experiencing a lack of dreams that used to have them?
I am no scientific wunderkund like so many here, nor have any 'gift' which Paul cites. I just had the dreams, and am now feeling a little shortchanged and doubtful.

I think God sometimes sends meaningful dreams when they are necessary, but when we have abundant truth at our disposal, he doesn't always send them. I have not had many meaningful dreams lately. Especially since I became active with Unsealed. The interaction with dozens of people who were pouring over the Scripture and receiving insights from the Holy Spirit and making scientific discoveries that jived with what the Scripture says have probably filled the need.
Dreams are not our primary source of information from God--the Bible is. Love His Word and diligently mine in it as for gold and diamonds and precious metals and precious stones. Pretty soon our best dreams will become reality.

I don't want to be presumptuous and ASK the Lord for one Good morning, katmak! I agree with watchmanjim's response, and just want to add that I'm pretty sure the Lord would not think it presumptuous to ask Him for a dream. I encourage you to tell Him how you're feeling, and ask Him your questions, and ask Him to provide an answer in His own timing. One thing I have learned from much experience in life is that our Heavenly Father never turns away our questions when we ask Him in honesty and seek answers from Him. Sometimes His answers come quickly, sometimes not so quickly as we would like, but always He's answered my questions in His perfect timing.
