In Revelation 11 we can read about the Temple and the ministry of the 2 Witnesses during the first 3.5 years of tribulation. It says that these 2 Witnesses "are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth."
In Zechariah 4 we can also find the two olive trees in connection with building of God's Temple. Zerubbabel was in charge of the contraction of that Temple. The name Zerubbabel means in Hebrew "born in Babylon". I believe that the 3rd Temple will be built by the Jews born in modern Babylon (USA). The Temple probably will be built during the first 3.5 years of tribulation.
p.s. Will the August' solar eclipse (earthquake?) make American Jews come back to Israel and start building the Temple?

Maybe the regathering of the people will happen at September 9, when Jupiter leaves the womb. Not sure about us being modern Babylon. I always thought Babylon would be built again.

Maybe the regathering of the people will happen at September 9, when Jupiter leaves the womb. Not sure about us being modern Babylon. I always thought Babylon would be built again. The Lord said through the prophet Jeremiah that Babylon won't be rebuilt. The Lord once showed me that there are tree mystery Babylons even as three leavens (Sadducees, Pharisees & Herod). The leaven of Herod is about power and money and that what USA is all about. Listen to the song "Gangsta's Paradise". JK  I actually like USA and the people. We have lived there for almost 10 years and I felt more at home there then right now in Ukraine. The Lord actually reveled Himself to my family and me while we were living there. There are many clues why USA is one of the Babylons. The original Babylon was about people getting together and building the name for themselves. Look at the USA. People from all of the word try to get there. The English became almost universal language. Even the 50% of Jewish population of the world lives there. It is similar to the times of Babylonian Empire when many Jewish people lived there. As the Lord destroyed the Babylon of old so the Mystery Babylon will be destroyed and the 2017 & 2024 eclipses are just signs of it's destruction. In Revelation 18 the Lord says: "Come out of her, my people..." From where do Jewish people need to come out? These words are not directed to Christians. Christians don't need to come out from anywhere. (I am not talking here about pretenders of faith but about true believers). Apostle Paul said that we (Christians) are in Christ Jesus on the right side of the Father. (Eph 2:6; Col 3:3) But the Jews who are also God's people need to come out from Babylon (USA) and from religious Judaism, which is another mystery Babylon. |

Well there are many people who consider Mystery Babylon to be the Roman Catholic Church.
I am not settled on the meaning--still interested in hearing all the possibilities.
You said there are 3 mystery Babylons. Can you list them, and provide scripture for each?

Well there are many people who consider Mystery Babylon to be the Roman Catholic Church. I am not settled on the meaning--still interested in hearing all the possibilities. You said there are 3 mystery Babylons. Can you list them, and provide scripture for each? The Babylon is an evil city and the Lord showed me once that evil works through a leaven. There are three leavens that Jesus warned His disciples about: the leaven of Sadducees, Pharisees and Herod. Even when the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness he used these 3 leavens: 1) Mixture of Law & Grace (Stones & Bread) 2) Religious Hypocrisy (Fall & Temple) 3) Wealth & Power (Kingdoms & Glory) 1) The first Babylon is Gentile and it’s a well-known city in Mesopotamia. The times of Gentiles actually begun with this Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar) and they will soon end with another Babylon. That city I believe is New-York. The 9/11 attack is the sign of the judgement of the first Babylon and I believe it will happen at the beginning of tribulation. The four airplanes represent the four winds of heaven or the four chariots of the sky or the four horsemen of the apocalypse or whatever you want to call them. The number 11 actually is the number of Babylon and if you look at Genesis 11:9 (9/11) guess what you can find.  2) The second Babylon is spiritual and the city is Christchurch. Some people call it Rome, but Rome represents only one denomination. The 2/22/11 earthquake is the sign of its judgement. Check how many buildings of different denominations were damaged… “And another angel followed, saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." This proclamation follows the preaching of the everlasting gospel. You can hear only adulterous or another gospel (Gal 1:6-8) being preached in those denominations. My wife and I watched the movie “2:22” (2/22) last night... Sign in the sky... The pregnant woman... The bad guy wanted to kill the woman, but her loved one saved her and the child... Even the actor looks like Jesus... We are living during the exciting times. 3) The third Babylon is Religious & Jewish. The city is Jerusalem. It will be judged at the end of the great tribulation. “Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God...” The great city or great Babylon here is in the contrast with the cities of the Gentiles. The Japanese 3/11/11 earthquake and the tsunami is the sign of its judgement. “Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.” (Rev 16:20) The mountainous island of Japan is the epitome of this. The 2nd & 3rd Babylons are kind of similar and could be confusing. The same way many Christian denominations are very much like synagogues. The difference between them is like the difference between Sadducees and Pharisees. Apostle Paul knew the difference, so he used it for his own advantage (Acts 23:6). |

Hmm. Interesting thoughts--these ideas are mostly new to me. I mean, some of it I have heard put together somewhat before. So you are thinking there has been a warning sign to all three of these, but the real devastation will happen later? Indeed! I actually never heard of it before. I even wasn't that interested in the end-time prophecy before January of this year. All I knew about end-times was Jesus coming back around 2030. |

I had another friend tell me he had a message or impression from God that Jesus would come back around 2030. That would be difficult to reconcile with the Great Sign issue unless there is some hidden twist we haven't figured out yet. But that would make it approximately 2,000 years after his death, burial, resurrection, and ascension.

There are some clues about Jesus coming back after 2 days (2000) in the Bible. In the parable of Good Samaritan, the Samaritan (Jesus) gave to innkeeper (Holy Spirit) 2 denarii. 1 denary was a day’s wage in the time of Jesus. The 2 denarii speak of 2 days. Also in the story of Lazarus’ resurrection it says that “He stayed two more days in the place where He was.” Then after this Jesus said: “Let us go to Judea again.”
That’s why I am not up to this hype about upcoming Sign. Many Christians are putting their doctrines and faith on the line if the Rapture won’t happen in September and it’s kind of strange to hear. As I said I wasn’t that up to the end-time prophecy until recently, so people probably were excited about blood moons 3 years ago. When I read Christian articles about the Sign in September and the Rapture that could happen it seems that many want to believe in something and they just looking for “proofs” that support their belief in different places. The 88 reasons of Jesus coming in 1988 is a good example of it.
In terms of the interpretation of the Scripture I believe we need to come to the Lord empty handed without any personal beliefs and receive from Him with an open heart. The prophecy is kind of tricky to understand. That’s why we should rely on the Lord and not on our own understanding. One thing for sure is that when the Day is approaching many Bible prophecies become more clear. Its like the Scripture says: “The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day.”

There are some interesting parallels between the 4 planes of 9/11 and the 4 Horsemen that I found out some time ago and just want to share it. The first 2 planes hit WTC. The 3rd one hit Pentagon and the 4th fell in Pennsylvania after the struggle on board. The order of them are in reverse with the order that John saw in Heaven. It’s like seeing in the mirror. 1) The 4th plane that fell at Stonycreek Township, Pennsylvania represents the White Horse. This one speaks about Jews coming out of USA (Babylon) like Jacob was going out from the Mesopotamia. The struggle on the plane is similar to the wrestle that Jacob had with somebody in Genesis 32. That happened when Jacob was crossing the brook near the passage of Jabbok. Stonycreek is also a stream and the TownShip is like the Noah’s Ark. BTW, the flight UA93 flew from the airport NewArk. 2) The flight AA77 hit the Pentagon from the West and it represents the Red Horse. The Red Horse is going to bring war and that what Pentagon is all about. I think that USA is going to be attacked from the West by the Red Horse (China?, red banner). 3) The 2nd plane flight UA175 hit the South Tower and it represents the Black Horse. This one is about famine and the economic collapse. In the book of Zachariah, we can find that the chariot with black horses were going to the north that means it was coming from the south. It is the same direction that the plane was flying before it hit the South Tower. 4) The last one is the Pale Horse and the flight AA11 which hit the North Tower. The casualties in the North Tower is much greater. Also in Zachariah we can find that the chariot with dappled (pale) horses were going toward the south (from the north) and its the same direction this plane was flying.  These are just some pieces of the unfinished puzzle... |

(However, I have no problem with it being an approximate 2000 rather than an exact 2000).That’s why I am not up to this hype about upcoming Sign. Many Christians are putting their doctrines and faith on the line if the Rapture won’t happen in September and it’s kind of strange to hear. I hope and trust nobody here is doing that. We must leave an open mind to the Lord, but this sign is clearly going to be there in the heavens. What actual human, spiritual, atmospheric, heavenly, political, and disastrous events occur at that exact time, or at any given time before or after, is definitely up for additional clarification. As I said I wasn’t that up to the end-time prophecy until recently, so people probably were excited about blood moons 3 years ago. The blood moons we have found to be clearly connected to the Revelation 12 sign. When I read Christian articles about the Sign in September and the Rapture that could happen it seems that many want to believe in something and they just looking for “proofs” that support their belief in different places. You could be right about some people, but we are trying to be cautious here even though everything seems to point to this. The 88 reasons of Jesus coming in 1988 is a good example of it. Please, read the article Gary wrote about the 88 Reasons book, and how terrible and false it was.
