Sounds like propaganda to shift attention to Israel. The muslims will blame Israel for anything and everything that goes wrong. Israel made its point a few weeks back with that single jet airstrike. No need to assassinate people. If I had to guess, I would say it was the Russians (or less likely, the mullahs). These guys were going to Azerbaijan... right on Russia's border, and one of the states that Russia has to constantly monitor. If Iran were going to work with Azerbaijan, then you can bet the Russians would try to stop that. You noticed that the Russians were the first to announce this, right? News is crazy.
Can't trust Iran news.
At one point a post came up that three of the rescuers were found dead.

UPDATE:
Three rescue workers who were working at the site where a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi crashed have been found dead, according to local media.
Their cause of death has not been established, but it is likely exposure.

Commander of the East Azerbaijan Army: Minutes ago, a signal was received from the helicopter and the mobile phone of one of the crew at the accident site.

Amir Tsarfati had pictures of the four head guys on the helicopter and where they were from. The East Azerbaijan province is actually in Iran. I was watching his video 5 hours ago.
At one point they were saying contact was made with people in the helicopter.
I am highly skeptical of some of the claims the gov has been talking with one the crew crew of the helicopter, if they did have coms with someone the first thing would be confirming is president alive 1 and 2 if so he would get priority use of any coms that were working.

🇮🇷‼️🚨 BREAKING: The Governor Hashem, who was flying with the president, got in touch.
He said that he is in a lot of pain and hears the sound of sirens. That means the rescue team is close!
The media does not report on Raisi. Hashem is of right now the only confirmed survivor!
It is considered indirect confirmation that Tehran already knows everything about the fate of the president and the head of the Foreign Ministry.
It sounds like his people hate his guts anyway and want him dead. They say he signed off on the deaths of 4000 political prisoners.
Iranians in the Northern City of Gorgan are continuing to launch Fireworks in Celebration of President Ebrahim Raisi’s Helicopter Crash and likely Death.
Others are speculating that what remains of the Iranian government is putting off the bad news in preparation for a potential coop. The news from state sources there seems to be in disarray.

🇮🇱🇮🇷 IF Iran finds that Israel took part in the crash of the Iranian President's helicopter and decides to retaliate, the US should not get involved.
Israel can't just carry out an assassination attempt on a foreign leader and not expect repercussions.
The west should not be dragged into a war to defend a country that constantly provokes its neighbours in the Middle East.
Again, IF Iran finds that Israel was involved.
If it truly was an 'accident', then this will just be a domestic issue that Iran will figure out by themselves.

Iranian media is in total chaos.
We can only receive information from Iranian media, and it’s completely unreliable.
I believe they are no longer alive, and it’s about to get really interesting in the next few days.
The Iranians are probably repressing the News until they know what to do next. Three helicopters in the convoy, only the important one crashes. I don't believe in coincidences. This could blow up in the days to come.

It's around 1 AM over there now. There's a Turkish surveillance drone going back and forth over the area of the crash now on flight radar.. If they find evidence of foul play it's going to go wild weasel. Israel could have extra trouble on multiple fronts. They're still mad about General Soleimani after all these years and post his pictures everywhere.
"By Putin's order, within the next hour, two advanced Russian aircraft with special helicopters and 50 professional mountain rescue personnel will be dispatched to Tabriz," the special assistant to the Russian President told Iran's vice-president in a phone call.

Raisi and Iran's foreign minister confirmed dead. Also a provincial governor and two other leaders. On top of that, there was news that Tehran's police chief was assassinated in a separate incident and Saudi Arabia's king might be at death's doorstep.
