From a cursory look in Stellarium for today, I see that Jupiter is currently outside the womb of Virgo and has been since around May 18th. I know this is during a time of Jupiter turning in retrograde, but why is this happening outside the womb? Seems like we need Jupiter to be IN the womb the whole 9 months for this to be a pregnancy. Can someone provide some insight on this? I feel like of all of history, this sign in the sky fits with Revelation 12, but it's confusing to me that Jupiter leaves the womb for around 53 days. I'm attaching a screenshot of what I'm talking about for clarification.

Hello Defender! Welcome! Several theories on this being discussed...best explanation I've seen so far is that it is not possible for Jupiter to complete this pattern completely in the womb... You will find that about every 83 years, Jupiter will start retrograde in the lower part of the womb, but it's rare for Jupiter to do this in a normal gestation period... Others call it a baby bump because a woman gets rounder during pregnancy...more later got to work...welcome home!

Thank you for the reply, Brad! I searched for theories online, but couldn't come up with anything. What you mention seems logical. Looks like this year we're as close as we're going to get to the perfect picture in the sky.

Welcome, Defender! We have a lot of good threads on here if you check back through. We're learning new things all the time--this is somewhat new to all of us! I agree, it doesn't look like it gets any closer than this, to that sign in the sky!

Hi ! Defenderofthetruth ! Welcome! Good question, we all learned something but your first question!!! I saw someone mention that Virgo looked very pregnant, I think it was Tim, but now I understand what he meant!

Could also be the babe "leaping in the womb."

I wondered about that too, when I first saw the sign. Brad's explaination is one of the best that's out there. Welcome, DefenderOfTruth!

I never realized just how deep and fascinating the Bible is, until two years ago. God turned my cold heart around and showed me the depths of His love and the depths of His Word and I haven't been the same since!

Hello Brad! Sorry it's taken me a while to reply.
I just stumbled upon the process when I downloaded the app. No special add ons. I've put the process below. I think you can skip all the first steps and go straight to the Astronomical Calculations Window. I just did it in a roundabout way since I didn't know what I was doing. haha.
Open Stellrium Turn off atmosphere (bottom cloud/sun icon) Turn on constellation lines (bottom left star/line icon) Turn on constellation labels (next to other star icon) Scroll forward or backward in time until the star you want comes across the sky (use the >> or << icon) then click pause Open up the Astronomical Calculations Window (a compass icon on the L side of the screen…you may have to move your mouse around the bottom Left area for the menu to pop up) Click the Ephemeris tab in the new window that popped up Select dates, star choice, time stop choice, and “show markers of positions” Click “Calculate Ephemeris” You may need to move the Astromical Calculations window, but behind it you should see your yellow dotted line across the sky of the progress of your chosen star.
By the way, there's a ton of information text in purple that comes up on the Left side of my window every time I click on a star and I can't figure out how to turn it back off.... if any of you know how to do that, please share! It really clutters the page.

Hi DefenderOfTruth and welcome to the forum! A brother on YouTube had a similar question about the 56 or 57 day track outside the womb. I researched this and here was my reply from my article A Defense of the Revelation 12 Sign: Part 4: In Christ, Gary

Hey DOT! To get rid of all that info, click F2, go to information, and uncheck whatever you want.
