...According to the Hebrew Calendar 10/14/2023 is 29th of Tishrei, 5784 but an annular solar eclipses can only take place when: It is New Moon. At the same time, the Moon is at (or very near) a lunar node, so the Earth, the Moon, and the Sun are aligned in a straight (or nearly straight) line. Wouldn't the month be considered the month of Cheshvan - חשון חדש ? ... Has anyone checked to see whether there is any significance to this apparent discrepancy? There is currently a suggestion that the Hebrew calendar is off. If it is true, and if the date difference above is significant, the question is begged: is this how much it is off? That is to say: if the New Moon celebration is supposed to be on an actual new moon, and it isnt, is it possible that the entire calendar could be off by the same number of days?

It might have really been an important day behind the scenes. Hi, Gary! Yes, I think you are right, and seeing the vast differences between the two presidencies on either side of that day makes me wonder if perhaps this seven-year span between the eclipses is symbolic of both the 7 years of plenty and the 7 years of famine from the story of Joseph, like a condensed version--a halved recipe, so to speak. Could it possibly also be a "type" of the coming 7-year Tribulation? Not sure, of course... Just pondering...

The countdown has begun... "Texas, and more specifically some areas of San Antonio and the Hill Country, have the rare 'luck' of seeing two solar eclipses within six months. The first is an annular solar eclipse on Oct. 14, 2023, and the second is a total solar eclipse, which will occur on April 8, 2024." The meaning of the name Antonio is: Highly praiseworthy. From a Roman clan name. In the 17th century, the spelling Anthony was associated with the Greek anthos meaning flower. I am 3 hours from San Antonio. www.ksat.com/news/texas/2023/01/13/san-antonio-hill-country-in-rare-crossroad-of-two-upcoming-solar-eclipses
