mike I do believe that those folks whom you mentioned will likely come to this grieving phase. Please bear with me on this. Things will get pretty deceptive for them.
I see the purpose of and an indication that there is going to be a witnessing unlike we have never had to counter this deception. Look at it as a table to be turned over by those who Follow Jesus where ever HE goes, doing this table-tuning (truth revealing/hope-giving reassurance) wherever He Goes and reveals/so too His Followers, go and witness.
And, this in turn destroys the Bondage the grieving have been in (their own self-interests). This mystery Bondage (following the flesh) disappears as each one turns and Follows the Lord (from this witnessing preached from Mid-heaven, not upper heaven either..hmmm….).
In one hour of God's timing this can happen. Lights go on after having been darkened... The grieving part perhaps is the lack of hope as they never fully understood or repented of their ways, or were resting in their works of religion to help them. The worldly (religious) system only leads to despair. I know I may be sounding like unicorns and butterflies about the witness thing, but we KNOW how things look to turn out in the latter end times. The end of the Story has many nations coming to be healed. We can grieve for these folks now, for sure, and pray for them because it is an unnecessary thing they must suffer. Yet we can not fathom the whys to whom is blinded to the Truth, who is not answering the calls.
YET, we know He is a MERCIFUL God. Not one of us is worthy, not a single one. So those of us who can see the Light now? Praise be given to the Lord! Maybe this is why Paul always is giving thanks and praise to the Lord, and grace (to his audience).
weep spiritually for them..for they know not what they are doing..
