We don't seem to have a thread regarding favorite lyrics. There are generally certain verses or songs that we sing where part of the song or even the whole song resonates with us.
Each week part of my job at my church is to get the worship slides ready for the Sunday service. Whoever is leading worship gives me a copy of the song sheets and I am responsible for making sure the slides in the computer match the version of the song the worship team is singing. They don't alway choose to sing every verse and sometimes it is the verses that we don't sing that may have me thinking about what they say more than the verses we do sing.
This Sunday I am working on the slides for The Church's One Foundation.
Verse 5
Through with a scornful wonder

I really like this verse because it speaks of watching and knowing that Jesus will come.

I used to not like thunderstorms, but I have come to see them as displaying God's power. He is a magnificent God. I also love to go out and look at the sky. What wonder and majesty it displays!
