Consider Isaiah 30:26 "The light of the moon will be as bright as the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter—like the light of seven days—on the day that the LORD binds up the brokenness of His people and heals the wounds He inflicted."
With Jesus Christ here on earth things will definitely be brighter.
I look forward to the rest of your analysis of Zechariah, boraddict.

Ezekiel 1 English Standard Version (ESV) Ezekiel in Babylon 1 In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by the Chebar canal, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. 2 On the fifth day of the month (it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin), 3 the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the Chebar canal, and the hand of the Lord was upon him there. The Glory of the Lord 4 As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal. 5 And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, 6 but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings. 7 Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus: 9 their wings touched one another. Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle. 11 Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above. Each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies. 12 And each went straight forward. Wherever the spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. 14 And the living creatures darted to and fro, like the appearance of a flash of lightning. 15 Now as I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, one for each of the four of them. 16 As for the appearance of the wheels and their construction: their appearance was like the gleaming of beryl. And the four had the same likeness, their appearance and construction being as it were a wheel within a wheel. 17 When they went, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went. 18 And their rims were tall and awesome, and the rims of all four were full of eyes all around. 19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose. 20 Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, and the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those rose from the earth, the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. 22 Over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of an expanse, shining like awe-inspiring crystal, spread out above their heads. 23 And under the expanse their wings were stretched out straight, one toward another. And each creature had two wings covering its body. 24 And when they went, I heard the sound of their wings like the sound of many waters, like the sound of the Almighty, a sound of tumult like the sound of an army. When they stood still, they let down their wings. 25 And there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads. When they stood still, they let down their wings. 26 And above the expanse over their heads there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and seated above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearance. 27 And upward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were gleaming metal, like the appearance of fire enclosed all around. And downward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him. 28 Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. Exodus 25:10-22 English Standard Version (ESV) The Ark of the Covenant
10 “They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Two cubits and a half shall be its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. 11 You shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and outside shall you overlay it, and you shall make on it a molding of gold around it. 12 You shall cast four rings of gold for it and put them on its four feet, two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it. 13 You shall make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 14 And you shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark by them. 15 The poles shall remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it. 16 And you shall put into the ark the testimony that I shall give you. 17 “You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold. Two cubits and a half shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. 18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work shall you make them, on the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 Make one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end. Of one piece with the mercy seat shall you make the cherubim on its two ends. 20 The cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be. 21 And you shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. 22 There I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel. Revelation 4 English Standard Version (ESV) The Throne in Heaven
4 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. 3 And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, 6 and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.
And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: 7 the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight. 8 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,
“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”
9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
My understanding of this was describing the Mercy Seat (Throne) of God as depicted in Exodus & Revelation. Could the wheel within the wheel be the 4 Rings with the Poles used to carry it & as every direction the living creatures turned the "wheels rose along with them"?

Ezekiel 1 English Standard Version (ESV)Ezekiel in Babylon1 In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by the Chebar canal, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. 2 On the fifth day of the month (it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin), 3 the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the Chebar canal, and the hand of the Lord was upon him there.Ezekiel gives us his age. He is thirty years four months and five days old when he saw the vision. Secondly, this vision came to him on the fifth day in the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin. He is a priest to the exiles in Babylon prior to the destruction of Jerusalem that is approximately five years hence.
The Glory of the Lord4 As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal. 14 And the living creatures darted to and fro, like the appearance of a flash of lightning.Ezekiel is looking at the four as they approach. To his right is their left and his left is their right. Thus, on his right, their left, was the lion, and on his left, their right, was the ox. So it is like you the viewer looking at these coming to you: ox / lion (looking at their front). However, from their perspective approaching Ezekiel they are: lion / ox (looking at their back). Thus according to their perspective the ox is to the right of the lion. So it is that Lord Jesus (the ox) is to the right of God the Father (the lion) like: God the Father the lion / Lord Jesus the ox. Thus, Lord Jesus is to the right hand of the Father. Secondly, they are all eagles. Thus we have the Great Eagle (The Father and Son) and his two wings (Rev. 12:14) that are the two witnesses and they all act as one (Rev. 11:3-6). Another point of consequence is that their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot. Thus, the Savior the Ox is represented as the Calf that provides locomotion for the four. This is again represented as the burning coals of fire in which the Savior is the burning sacrifice of the altar and the servants respond to him like lightning. This responsiveness to the Savior is also noted by the movement of the four and their wings. From above the four are God the Father, Lord Jesus, and the two witnesses, and now we have these four associated with the wheel within a wheel. The two witnesses have been resurrected (Rev. 11:11-12); thus there are three resurrected beings among the four. These three resurrected beings represent the Godhead as Lord Jesus, the angel of the Lord, and John the beloved. Again, I hope no one gets mad at me for stating information. Thus, the Godhead that is God the Father, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Ghost is now represented with three resurrected beings as: Lord Jesus for God the Father, the angel of the Lord for Lord Jesus, and John the beloved for the Holy Ghost. In other words, these three are resurrected beings representative of the Godhead: God the Father, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. These three (Lord Jesus, the angel of the Lord, and John the beloved) are not the Godhead but they, as resurrected beings, represent the Godhead. Thus, I believe that the wheel within a wheel pertains to their resurrected state of existence as they represent the Godhead. I think that Ezekiel is trying to show us the resurrected state of existence and how these four interact with each other as well as others of the resurrection. When they stood still, they let down their wings.26 And above the expanse over their heads there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and seated above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearance. 27 And upward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were gleaming metal, like the appearance of fire enclosed all around. And downward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him. 28 Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.Exodus 25:10-22 English Standard Version (ESV)The Ark of the Covenant 10 “They shall make an ark of acacia wood. The Book of the Law as well as the stone tablets were in the ark. In Ron Wyatt's account he did not mention seeing the Book of the Law so perhaps it was taken out at some point in time or simply oxidized into dust.Revelation 4 English Standard Version (ESV)The Throne in Heaven 4 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! Hi Bond. I am changing your verses to blue and my comments/opinion will be black. There is so much symbolism that your understanding might be correct. The Ark of the Covenant represents God's law here upon the earth and where his law is, is his mercy seat. This is the very throne of God whereupon Lord Jesus will sit when he is upon the earth. Not like a permanent location mind you; but when he sits upon his throne it is this throne.

The picture below is pretty much how I picture the four living creatures, except that the wings would be the orbits of the electrons of the atom. According to your analysis, this picture has the faces of the lion and ox reversed and the eagle would be facing back? I don't know, but like Zechariah, one has to keep in mind the context of what the prophet had to compare to, the imagery that they could understand. This picture also does not depict the wheels: "As for the appearance of the wheels and their construction: their appearance was like the gleaming of beryl. And the four had the same likeness, their appearance and construction being as it were a wheel within a wheel. 17 When they went, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went. 18 And their rims were tall and awesome, and the rims of all four were full of eyes all around." Ezek. 1:16-18
Anyway, I dont' want to sidetrack your analysis of Zechariah, boraddict. I look forward to the remaining chapters.

Chapter 11
1 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
We begin this chapter with trees representing people. The cedars are the nobles of Lebanon that are devoured by the fire of the Savior.
2 Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
After the cedars have fallen (v. 11:1) the general leadership falls as well (the fir trees). Howl ye oaks (again the leaders) for the forest of the vintage (ancient Israel) is come (those of the Savior destroying the leaders of Lebanon (the wicked).
3 There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
Verses 10:1-2 are repeated here in Verse 10:3.
4 Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
To feed the flock of the slaughter (v. 10:4) is to feed the wicked their slaughter.
5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
This verse (v. 10:5) is easier understood in its chiastic form as follows: "Whose possessors (leaders) slay them and their own shepherds (from Verses 10:1-2) pity them not and hold themselves not guilty and they that sell them (from Verses 10:1-2) say Blessed be the Lord (the Muslims say this) for I am rich. This verse (v. 10:5) is showing the arrogance of the wicked leaders and their general lack of concern for their people.
6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
Again, the flock of the slaughter (vv. 11:4, 7) are the wicked, and the poor of the flock (v. 11:7) are not the leaders (v. 11:1-2) but the followers. Secondly, the Savior Lord Jesus has taken two staves and these of course are the beast and false prophet of the BoR and he (the Savior) fed the flock to the slaughter via Beauty and Bands.
8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
The three shepherds are the three of Revelation 9:18 / 16:13 that are the false gods (frogs, Rev. 16:13) of the wicked. Not that they are frogs (Rev. 16:13) but frogs is used as a metaphorical place holder for these false gods. Additionally, these three in Rev. 9:19 have power in their tails meaning that they are not the legitimate head of government (the Godhead) but a false godhead that is Satan, the beast, and the false prophet of the BoR as stipulated to in Rev. 13:2 wherein "the dragon (Satan) gave him (the beast) his (the dragons) power (representative of God the Father), seat (representative of the Savior), and great authority (representative of the Holy Ghost). The power being Satan, the seat being the beast, and the great authority being the false prophet. The BoR is rich with metaphorical references to these three.
9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
This is a brutal verse and is stated in the BoR at 14:9-11. Additionally, the warfare will be like Gideon and the Midianites in which the wicked destroy the wicked (Isa. 9:4).
10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
Afterwards, the beast (Beauty) is cut asunder (Rev. 19:20) that "I might break my covenant (v. 11:7) which I had made with all the people" pertaining to feeding the flock to the slaughter via Beauty (the beast) and Bands (the false prophet). That is, Lord Jesus said he was going to feed the wicked to the slaughter via the beast and false prophet and now that this slaughter is over the covenant is satisfied and thereby ended.
11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
The wicked will know that the Lord destroyed them. To wait upon the Savior is to do his work. In this case it was the wicked destroying the wicked.
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
This verse shows the mindset of the wicked that they are so evil that they consent to the murder of the Savior.
13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
Thus, a reversal in that the price is repaid to them for the price they paid. Thus they receive what they wanted to give and we are not speaking of money but destruction.
14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
This verse is cryptic in that the war is over. That is, Bands the false prophet is destroyed (Rev. 19:20) and the brotherhood of warfare wherein Judah and Ephraim worked together to destroy the enemy is over.
15 And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
Remember from the BoR that the false prophet (Bands) sent the missiles (Rev. 13:13) of Zechariah Chapter 5. Thus, Bands it the "foolish shepherd" and the Lord is saying "take unto thee the" Nuclear weapons of warfare.
16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
And here is the Son of David of the latter days to exercise judgment that the Nuclear weapons be destroyed. Can you see it? "To eat the flesh of the fat and tear their claws (weapons) in pieces" is to destroy the nuclear weapons of warfare. This is stated in scripture as turning the weapons into plows etc. Thus, the shepherd that is the Son of David holding the birthright of kingship destroys the nuclear weapons.
17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
This last verse of Chapter 11 is a warning to Christ's leaders here in the latter days. "Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock!" This is in contrast to the leaders of the wicked flock in Verses 11:1-3. Thus, the first link of the chapter chiasmus is easily identifiable. You know, like:
a b c d e
The first link is "a" (vv. 11:1-3) to "e" (v. 11:17) and the chiasmus builds from there, the center of which will be about Verse 11:8. And there it is, the false godhead.

I wish that I could do art work like that. The cow and lion should be reversed. Ezekiel is looking at the lion on the right and the cow on the left.

haha, me too! I pulled this one off of the web. I lean toward impressionism in my painting. I've got one I did in college of 'the third horse of the apocalypse' that I would like to share here if I could figure out how to get it uploaded.
I was wondering, @ boraddict, is the thirty pieces of silver in verse 12-13 also a reference to the thirty pieces that Judas received for betraying Jesus? And 'casting it to the potter' a reference to Judas killing himself in the Potter's Field?

Zechariah used a similar type and shadow in an earlier chapter. Here in Chapter 11 the application of the thirty pieces of silver is symbolic but not more than that. Thus, for the type, the value of the Saviors life was determined by the wicked to be thirty pieces of silver and it was cast by Iscariot before the "potters" (fabricators) in their house; they having conspired to kill the Savior. Likewise, the shadow of the type is that the Savior will in turn symbolically value their lives as being worth thirty pieces of silver cast to the "potter" (fabricator) in his house. There is room in the analogy to include that the head of the house (God) will cast out the wicked as Judas was cast out by the wicked priests. There is a lot of symbolism here so it is fair to say that they in turn will kill themselves like Judas killed himself. The difference is that they kill each other.

Chapter 12
This Chapter is a fun challenge so I am going to begin with the chapter chiasmus as follows:
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces*, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God. 6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. Center 7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; 13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; 14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
The Verse links are as follows: 1 to 13 & 14 2 to 12 3 to 11 4 to 10 5 to 9 6 to 8 and Verse 12:7 is the chiasmus center so let's begin there.
This verse (12:7) pertains to a God not showing favoritism. Since the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem received some glory, then it is only fair that the house of Judah be saved first. You know, like you have three children and the first two received a soda but not the third. Thus it is only fair that the third child receive something and that for Judah is to be "saved first."
Next, Verse 12:6 shows that "the governors of Judah" are the two witnesses. Okay, remember that the governor of Judah in a previous chapter was rejected by Judah. Now we have two governors in Judah and they are like a hearth of fire (Rev. 11:5) among the wood and they "devour all the people round about." Also that Jerusalem will be inhibited again in her own place even in Jerusalem (city). This is a dead giveaway that the verse (v. 12:6) is saying that Ephraim is in the holy city Jerusalem. Thus, Ephraim is once again in Jerusalem as she was during Solomon's time. Remember that Ephraim separated from Judah under Solomon's son Rehoboam and stopped using the temple in Jerusalem. Thus, Verse 12:6 is saying that Ephraim is in Jerusalem city using the holy temple again and this is their glory (v. 12:7). Now that would make Judah jealous of Ephraim.
Okay, so now let's go to the chiastic parallel, Verse 12:8, and we should see a contrast to Verse 12:6; and there it is: David contrasts the two witnesses. Thus, David is the Son of David that is one of the two witnesses. The verse states in its chiastic form "In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem as the angel of the LORD before them, and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God. Now I am smiling because Verse 12:6 is busted wide open and completely understood. "In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem as the angel of the Lord (Isa. 37:36) before them (the two witnesses in Rev. 11:3-6). That is, the Lord is defending Jerusalem city via the two witnesses as the angel of the Lord did in Isaiah 37:36. Additionally, "he that is feeble among them (among the two witnesses) at that day shall be as David (the Son of David); and the house of David (Ephraim; remember this is Ephraim's glory) shall be as God." Thus, Verse 12:8 reads: In that day when the LORD defends the inhabitants of Jerusalem via the two witnesses, the least among them is the Son of David and his 144,000 will have the power of God as the angel of the LORD did in Isaiah 37:36. It should be easy to see that the two witnesses are 1) the angel of the Lord and 2) the Son of David, and that Ephraim is the 144,000 of the BoR Chapter 14.
Now let's go back up to Verse 12:5 that states "And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God." Thus, the two witnesses say in their hearts that the 144,000 (remember that the inhabitants of Jerusalem are now Ephraim in this Chapter) shall be my (the two witness' are speaking individually) strength in the Lord of hosts, their (the 144,000's) God. Thus, Verse 12:5 tells us that the 144,000 are well thought of by the two witnesses.
Next is the chiastic parallel to Verse 12:5, Verse 12:9 that states "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." Again find the contrast. Most/many chiastic parallels have contrasting parts between them. There it is, "destroy" in Verse 12:9 contrasts with "heart" in Verse 12:5. Remember that in Verse 12:5 that the 144,000 had the heart strings of the two witnesses. Thus, the Lord will "seek to destroy" all the nations that come against the 144,000. Additionally, it should be clear that Judah is like envious (not really but for the purposes of this chapter) of Jerusalem (v. 12:7) because Ephraim and Jerusalem have now both received their glory. Ephraim for being with the two witnesses in Jerusalem city and Jerusalem city for having them there.
Now to Verse 12:4. " In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness." Okay, here we have Judah being saved as referenced in Verse 12:7. Remember that Ephraim (the house of David, v. 12:7) and Jerusalem city (v. 12:7) have received their glory and now Judah is going to be saved and this is Rev. 9:16-21.
And the chiastic parallel Verse 12:10. "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." Again we see the two that have glory (v. 12:7) "the house of David" and "Jerusalem" with the Savior now in their midst (Rev. 14:1). So sad!
Okay, on to Verse 12:3. "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." This is the gathering of the wicked against Jerusalem city.
And the chiastic parallel Verse 12:11. "In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon." Here we see a reference to Armageddon (Rev. 16:16) linking to Verse 12:3 with the contrast being those who mourn for Christ (v. 12:10).
Next is Verse 12:2. "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem." Again we have a reference to Judah and Jerusalem of Verse 12:7 and the 144,000 as the "cup of trembling" to the people round about. Remember that there are three in Verse 12:7 that are: 1)"the tents (house) of Judah" 2) "the house of David" that is the 144,000 of Rev. 14, and Jerusalem city. Thus, the three in Verse 12:2 are 1) "Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about" and this is Ephraim also called the house of David here in Chapter 12, and this is the 144,000, 2) Judah who was envious in Verse 12:7, and 3) Jerusalem city. So Verse 12:2 reads: Behold, I will make the 144,000 a cup of trembling unto all the people round about when they (the people round about) shall be in the siege both against Judah and Jerusalem city.
Now Verse 12:12. "And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;" Again, the mourning in Jerusalem city when the people see the Savior. So sad! However, he has saved them (v. 12:7) from destruction.
Lastly, Verse 12:1. "The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him." We can see from the former verses that this prophecy is about saving Judah from destruction in the city of Jerusalem.
Verses 12:13-14. "The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; 14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart." And everyone in Jerusalem city mourns for the Savior whom has saved them as well as all saints from the foundation of the world.

Chapter 13
This chapter (13) is an easy read; however, I am going to read it according to the linking verses of the chapter chiasmus but in reverse (not from the center) just for the fun of it.
1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
The fountain in Verse 13:1 is the Fountain of Living Water and that is Lord Jesus. The house of David is the 144,000 (Rev. 14:1). Thus, Verse 13:1 is making reference to the Savior coming to Jerusalem city and the 144,000 are there. In Verse 13:9 the "third part" is Judah from Verse 12:7 that is not mentioned in Verse 13:1. Thus, Lord Jesus will bring Judah through the fire.
2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
Verse 13:2 is straight forward; however, the "prophets" are not prophets as we have in the OT and NT but Pharisees in Judah that are living here upon the earth today in the nation state of Israel. Thus, in contrast to verse 12:7 that has 1) the house of David, 2) Jerusalem city, and 3) Judah that is saved; Verse 13:8 includes from Verse 13:2 the 1) Pharisees, 2) unclean spirit, and 3) Judah that is "left therein" meaning saved in Jerusalem.
3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth. 7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
Verse 13:3 tells us that the Pharisees and unclean spirit will be killed in Jerusalem. That is, Judah has been lied to for such a long time by these false prophets that the people once they learn the truth will kill off these wicked men from among them. "Awake O sword against my (as in an individual's) shepherd (the Pharisee in Judah) and against the man that is my (as in an individual's) fellow (the unclean spirit wicked among the people) saith the Lord of hosts. Smite the shepherd (the Pharisee in Judah) and the sheep (Judah) shall be scattered and I will turn my hand (The Son of David their King by birthright) upon the little ones in Judah.
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: 5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
Thus, the Pharisees will be ashamed and hide themselves; otherwise they will be killed.
6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
And one shall say unto the Savior, and I can really see this happening: What are these wounds in thine hands? And when he answers them they will be angry that they have been deceived for so long a time by wicked men.

Chapter 14
I made a mistake when I ended up with Chapter 1 as Chapter 14. I do not know how I did that. Anyway I read both Chapters 1 and 14 and they were exactly the same; word for word. In fact, I copied and posted Chapter 14 from an online King James; the one that I am using today. Then I checked the online version that I had copied against my Bible. They were both Chapter 1 and I must have mistakenly thought it was Chapter 14 that I had copied. Yet today I notice that both Chapters 1 and 14 have 21 verses. Interesting.
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6 Chapter 7 Chapter 8 Chapter 9 Chapter 10 Chapter 11 Chapter 12-13 Chapter 14
As you can see the emphasis of the book chiasmus (above) is Chapter 7.
Below is the "real" Chapter 14 in chiasmus form:
1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off (this links to Verse 20) from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations (this is the link to Verse 19), as when he fought in the day of battle. 4-5 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come (this is the link to Verse 18), and all the saints with thee. 6-7 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark but it shall be one day (this is the link to Verse16) which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening (this is the link to Verse 16) time it shall be light . 8 And it shall be in that day (this is the link to verse 13), that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem (this is the link to Verse 12); half of them toward the former sea (this is the link to Verse 15), and half of them toward the hinder sea (this is the link to Verse 14): in summer and in winter shall it be. 9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth (this is the link to Verse 11): in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. Center 10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. 11 And men shall dwell in it (this is the link to Verse 9), and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. 12-15 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem (this is the link to Verse 8); Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. And it shall come to pass in that day (this is the hard link to verse 8), that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour. And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem (this is the link to Verse 8); and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague (this is the link to Verse 8). 16-17 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year (this is the link to Verses 6-7) to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. (Verse 17 does not have a hard link to Verses 6-7; however, it is a continuation of Verse 16). 18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen (this is the link to Verses 4-5) that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations (this is the link to Verse 3) that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses (this is a link to Verse 2; because, the horses are the enemy that now are defeated thus they have bells), HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots (remember the potter from a previous Chapter. God creates the pots that are the saints.) in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls (remember that this is the 144,000 from a previous chapter) before the altar. 21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
Verse 10 is the chiasmus center 9 to 11 8 to 12-15 6-7 to 16-17 4-5 to 18 3 to 19 2 to 20 1 to 21
Now it is just a matter of bring the links together for an analysis of the Chapter.
Verse 1 states that a spoil will be divided in the "midst of thee" and from Verse 21 we see that Verse 1 is speaking about Jerusalem. Thus, Verse 1 is saying a spoil divided in the midst of Jerusalem. Secondly, "every pot in Jerusalem" meaning every person (and this is a continuation from Verse 20) will be taken by them that sacrifice and these are the Savior, his two witnesses, and God the Father. They being four, will remove the beast and his minions as well as the evil spirited people and Pharisees (from a previous chapter). The point is that this takes place after Revelation Verse 11:12 because Zechariah 14:21 states that "they" that sacrifice shall take them: thus, we are at Rev. 11:13.
Verse 2 and here we see that we are speaking of the great battle of Armageddon because all nations are gathered to battle against Jerusalem. Additionally, the city will be taken by the enemy and this is Revelation Verse 11:7 where the two witnesses are killed. As you may recall, this is all because the two witness are rejected from Jerusalem and thereby the Savior is rejected by Jerusalem. Thus the enemy is allowed to come into a city that was once protected. Because, the Pharisees and not the Savior has control of the people. Thus, the wicked must be removed and this is done by the beast (Rev. 11:7). That is, the two witnesses protected the city and when the Pharisees learn that the two witnesses are loyal to Jesus Christ then the Pharisees turn the people against the two witnesses and kill them via the beast. However once the beast is in the city the people are ravaged and the Savior returns personally as the four "they" (Zech. 14:21) to take the remaining people. Afterwards, these people give the Pharisees a little pay back for deceiving them in this way.
Verse 3 Here we see the end result that the Savior from henceforth will not allow this wickedness to return. In Verse 19 it is called "the punishment of Egypt" because they will not be allowed to participate in the festivities over the next 1,000 years.
Verse 4-5 and here is the great earthquake that divides the city. Thus the saints and heathen are divided for the next 1,000 years and this is alluded to in Verse 18.
Verse 6-7 and again the reference to the 1,000 years, no day or night thus it is one day. Notice that all the saints come with the Savior and this is speaking to Verses 16-17 that all saints come to Jerusalem "year after year" in celebration of tabernacles during the next day (1,000 years) of the Lord.
Verse 8 and now a mix of information from previous chapters. I am hurrying through this because it is all self explanatory using the chiasmus.
Verse 9 The King Lord Jesus shall rule the earth.
Verse 10 is symbolism pertaining to the earth and Jerusalem. The land "as a plane" (v. 14:10) is the same thing as the sea of glass in Revelation 4:6 / 15:2.
Hope you like my work on the Book of Zechariah.
