I feel like NK is a distraction although they could factor into the chaos or even get it started, but they were never the main attraction. To your other point, I saw something on One America News yesterday where liberals ousted Halloween in a MA town as it was not inclusive (enough). Talk about not living in a world tied to reality. I was like wow, even Satan's holiday isn't inclusive enough 😲 North Korea is going to blow themselves up before they are able to do damage to anyone else. That mountain they keep testing in is about to cave in and possibly set off a nearby super volcano. Radioactive lava, flying boulders, and hot ash anyone? Yes a distraction for sure. I don't know if that is necessarily the case, I've been wondering myself how NK fits into this late hour. But we have consistently underestimated their capability, and continue to be caught flat footed. Their underground nuke site may be now unusable, but from what I have heard lately, what they really need now is a surface test. The other components are a working re-entry vehicle and a working ICBM. They have all of the technology necessary, it's about perfecting it at this point. Do they play a role in some catalyst event that leads into the tribulation? Does America attack NK because of their weapons threat or some action they take and that is why America is unable or unwilling to come to Israel's aid during the Magog War? I could be completely wrong, but they are on the threshold and I think it would be premature to write them off.

Oh I certainly think they are dangerous and should not be underestimated, however they seem so desperate to amp up their nuclear weapons they are not paying attention to other things, like the mountains they are causing to be on the verge of collapsing. China has evacuated and moved troops and civilians from the border where the mountains are from fear of nuclear chemicals and dust coming from the mountain. They know landslides are happening, they can see it in satellite photographs. I mean a distraction as in the media. All you here is NK NK NK!!! But important things other than ISIS happening in the Middle East, not so much.

I think we will see a war/invasion involving Israel very soon. They have drawn their red lines and the Iranians/Assad feel obligated to test and respond to those red lines. I think some sort of escalation is in the offing.

Just saw this article this morning on Prophecy News Watch. It seems things are narrowing down to Isaiah 17 & Ezekiel 38/39. The last part about Russia and Iran's power quote: "Russia may be willing to turn a blind eye to the next Israeli airstrike, but that won't torpedo Iran's plan for Syria, which includes a broad and lasting military presence." This is very interesting. Prophecy revelation right in front of our eyes. www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=1699

Wow Linda, I definitely didn't expect that. That would certainly be an unexpected turn of events. It makes sense though as China has no interest in the West toppling Kim and then seeing both Koreas unified under the south's democratic leadership. On top of that, Kim is China's perpetual awkward little brother. They are embarrassed by him and I imagine they think he makes China and their communist state look bad while they are trying to present Chinese statism as a viable, respectable option to lead the world.

I heard somewhere that in terms of prophecy, the asian nations would have some kind of distraction that keeps them from participating actively in the middle east until the euphrates is dried up. My impression is that it was frustrating them in terms of being able to be active elsewhere. Kinda keeping them bottled up or distracted. It occurred to me after reading nana 's post that it might be squabbling with NK's intransigence.

Just for the sake of information on Israel related events and completeness. This update from JD Farag gives goosebumps. We indeed are almost there... Time for praying and looking up to our blessed hope.
