U.S. commander says American forces face 'imminent' threat from Iran

"BAGHDAD — The top commander of U.S. forces in the Middle East says he believes the Iranians or their proxies may orchestrate an attack at any moment.
"I think the threat is imminent," Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie said in an exclusive broadcast interview with NBC News in the Iraqi capital. "We continually evaluate our force posture in the region."
The U.S. has beefed up its military presence in the region in an effort to deter Iran and protect American forces and allies."


Maybe our rapture is just as imminent as well.

That’s a great question mike. My take is that the Trump Administration is going to have to walk a fine line between their obvious support for Israel and trying to appease other muslim nations. This article states that Trump isn’t going to reveal the peace plan until after the Israel’s Sept 17th elections. My guess is to find out who they will be working with (Netanyahu or other), and not to “rock the boat” before that.

Kushner has said his plan will not mention a two-state solution because "it means one thing to the Israelis, it means one thing to the Palestinians", despite the notion of a two-state solution being the bedrock of talks in the past.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Kushner offered a glimpse of what the political process could look like.

"I think we all have to recognize that if there ever is a deal, it's not going to be along the lines of the Arab peace initiative. It will be somewhere between the Arab peace initiative and somewhere between the Israeli position," he said.

"And we need to think about what are the fundamental things that are underlying and important. Number one is security. I think that the Israeli population and the Palestinian population and the broader Middle East right now cares about having security.”



To me, right now it seems neither side is too concerned about “peace and security”. They seem to be testing each other’s resolve. Neither side wants to back down or give anything away. Your instinct on the Iran situation is valid. They are sorta the kink in this deal since they basically want to wipe Israel off the map, deal or no deal imo. I think Trump sticks with what he has been saying. Support for Israel, bring a plan together that can be agreed upon, but keep pressure on Iran to back off. I think he can do that, because many in the world community consider Iran as a loose cannon that will cause all-out war and will therefore back the President.


Here’s my caveat. I don’t think Trump is going to be re-elected next year. Too much media poisoning the minds of the masses and Trump himself sometimes self-inflicting harm. This country is pushing hard to the left towards socialism. However, as bad as that is going to be, I think it is necessary to fulfill biblical prophecy of a worldwide beast system.


Here’s basically a simple timeline of what I think has a good chance of happening and could fall in line with scripture events. Peace plan gets revealed after the elections. No agreement will be reached. God continues to warn the world with ongoing birth pangs (Fires, Earthquakes, Storms, civil unrest, etc) for the next year. US elections 2020. No Trump. The next President will not have the will or fortitude to push back against Iran, Russia, Hezbollah, etc. In fact, that person (most likely anti-Israel) may do the opposite and help them, in similar fashion as Obama. Iran and the rest feel nothing can stop them now and attack. Ezekial 38-39 war starts possibly by early 2021. The US either unwillingly (new anti-Israel govt) or unable (such as a massive earthquake type disaster) will not help defend Israel. Israel stands alone. I think this war is a precursor to the Armageddon war at the end. Damascus destroyed. World clamors for peace. Enter THE anti-Christ. Peace plan confirmed. Great Tribulation and Wrath of God. Where will the Church (Christs bride) be during all this? Personally, I think we’ll be here until the plan gets confirmed, but before the Wrath of God. However, it’s possible we could be gone before the Ezekial war and hence another possible reason why the US would be unable to help.
