While our #1 focus should always be Heaven, we still hunger and thirst for righteousness here on earth, too. For that reason I would ask everyone to please be in very diligent prayer for Kavanaugh, his family, the U.S. Senate, and others involved with this confirmation process. He could very well be the deciding vote on Roe, gay marriage, etc. The ramifications a conservative-majority SCOTUS might also have on the future of the Trump Administration, the Middle East, and Israel are very significant.

What a blessing and miracle it would be to see Roe v Wade overturned in America.

Either way, God is clear on this. He loves justice, and He hates lying.
Exodus 23:1 [ A Call for Justice ] “You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand.
Proverbs 6:19 a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.
Proverbs 12:17 An honest witness tells the truth; a false witness tells lies.
Proverbs 14:5 An honest witness does not lie; a false witness breathes lies.
Proverbs 14:25 A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is a traitor.
Proverbs 19:5 A false witness will not go unpunished, nor will a liar escape.
Proverbs 19:9 A false witness will not go unpunished, and a liar will be destroyed.
Proverbs 21:28 A false witness will be cut off, but a credible witness will be allowed to speak.

Today's hearings were a total mockery. Praying that God will open eyes and bring the truth to light.

If anyone’s reputation is allowed to be smeared and destroyed based on a 30 something year old memory which cannot be substantiated or proven and with no evidence provided, then our republic is done for.
The hearing yesterday should be an embarrassment to every American citizen. I was dumbfounded to hear the committee ask questions about drinking games and fart jokes yesterday. If you haven’t watched the entire hearings then I encourage you to do so to really get a feel for how absurd they were. Don’t just watch a few clips provided by the media.
If nothing else, I pray this may be the catalyst that Americans will have their eyes opened to the corruption in Washington on both sides of the aisle. That everyday Americans will hit their boiling point and demand better from elected officials.
These hearings are not about justice for Dr Ford or about finding the truth that happened 36 years ago at a high school party. Nope, these hearings are only to tear down a mans reputation and drag him through the mud in the court of public appeal. When you cannot find fault with a man’s credentials or professional record, only thing left to do is to this smear tactic.

Kavanaugh has passed the Judiciary Committee vote 11/10, which means he has been officially recommended for a final, floor vote. However, Sen. Flake is pushing for a one week FBI investigation.
There are now 47 Republicans who have openly committed to confirming + 1 who doesn't broadcast his votes early on principle, but will almost certainly vote to confirm (Sen. Enzi). That makes 48.
Flake will ostensibly support Kavanaugh if an FBI investigation happens and turns up nothing. That makes 49.
Murkowski from Alaska seems to be saying the same thing, which will make 50, which is all he needs (the VP breaks a Senate tie).
Collins and Manchin are unknowns, but probably leaning 'yes' if the FBI proceeds.
That makes 52 'ayes'.
...But one week is a long time in this atmosphere. A lot can change.
Please, please pray by name for:
Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona
Senator Susan Collins of Maine
Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska
Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia.
LORD, please move mightily in their minds and hearts but let your will be done.
