Yes, they checked for a lot of things. Did a lot of bloodwork. I'm planning to call them and talk to them again today.

We're out here Jim, and praying, Declaring WAR!!! That has GOT to be some spiritual warfare going on there. You are out there evangelizing... He's trying to stop you. But....
1 John 4:4
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (!!!)

Thanks, guys. Went to the doctor again today, and he's going to get me in to see the cardiologist hopefully tomorrow. He thinks he can rule out a few other things we wondered about, and says it definitely seems to be a heart issue as far as he can tell. MORE tests to come!
A few months ago as I was drifting off to sleep, the still, small voice of God whispered in my ear, "Jim. בוחני."
I almost dismissed it, not knowing what בוחני meant, nor even particularly recognizing it as Hebrew. But I was stirred enough to get up and look it up. Remembering that Hebrew words can take on a whole number of different meanings and connotations, I encourage you to search for the word as I did, and see if you come to the same conclusions or different.

A refining test, watchmanjim? Wow--I love it when the Lord speaks in these awesome ways! I searched first through Google Translate, then took the word "Tester" to BibleHub.com. All the passages I see there are in reference to refining tests, as for precious metals, and the Lord's tests of the heart. Is this what you found?

Yes. Indeed it is. I think our Lord was telling me I would be tested and refined over the remaining time I have. I asked for Him to do whatever it took to bring glory to Himself through my life and this is what He chose.
Now. A challenge to any and all. Is anyone else out there willing to do the same? To surrender all before Him, no matter what, and ask Him to do whatever it takes to bring the most glory to Himself from your life? No matter what?

Absolutely, watchmanjim--and part of that, for me, is to spend even more time in prayer. I'll be praying for you, for your family, for your ministry, and for all of us here at the forum who are going through testing.

Thank you. If anything happens to me before the Sky Reunion, please look for any way you can to leverage my life and work for the Lord. My wife or someone else should let you guys know in a case like that, but if three days go by without my participation here, you should be concerned.

Brother, you're the biggest part of this place and the reason this fellowship got off the ground. Can't wait to meet you in person and I think it's looking like all of us here are going to meet VERY, VERY soon.

Can't wait to meet you in person and I think it's looking like all of us here are going to meet VERY, VERY soon. Ah, Gary, that's awfully nice of you to say, and I really don't feel like it's accurate. I tend to be a prolific poster on whatever website I'm a part of. I'm trying to get scheduled with my cardiologist soon. Need to find out what's going on here, but I'm at peace about it. There's a big praise--I'm able to go back to my security job 40 hours a week, and with a small raise. This job is still less money per hour than I''ve been making at my tree job and sawmill, but it is safer and less stressful for me. I get to sit for half the time I'm there. If I do have a health crisis, I'm around other people who know how to deal with it.

That's great, watchman! By the way, you think that Gary's statement is accurate? You make up 30%,of all the posts on the board (excluding this one). The second place winner, whatif, has 19% of posts. Third is Gary, with 12%. All together, three people make up 61% of every post on this board. And you are the biggest piece of this. Don't shortsell yourself; you are one of the most interesting, active people on the board. Keep your head held high, and pray to God Almighty that he will fix your problems.

Thanks, Beloved. You're a big encouragement. It's good to remember this about problems, if you know the Lord: "Big problems are no problem, and small problems are heart problems." (Generally).
