I've been a little quiet on these boards as of late (lurking though for sure), but I wanted to see if anyone else is feeling or thinking like I am.
The Rev 12 sign was and has been much maligned, though I do believe it was the sign John spoke of. I look at the great eclipse as well, and there is just too much for it to be coincidence (7 salem's, starting just at sunset in Israel, etc.). I have no doubt in my mind that these were big signs from God.
But as time has elapsed from these dates, well, we are still here. I know many have made the case that these were road signs so to speak, but 6 plus months later with day after significant looking day failing to bring us home, where do we stand? I find myself crying out to God "When will you come for your people?" I know His timing is perfect, and my faith is in Him, but not in a date. But it feels as if I we can middle along like this forever! I guess I'm just ready to go home and hoped we would be long gone by now. Anyone else feeling this way?

Personally, I'm done looking at Jewish feast days. I'll take 9/23/17 + 280 days (human gestation period) for 6/30/2018. But who knows? LOL I am asking God the same thing and the only answer I am getting back is "can you not stay awake and pray for 1 year?"

I think the Revelation 12 sign was pointing to the conjunction and so it's only been around 140 days for me. AND i don't think anything was supposed to happen during those 140 days. But now i think we ARE in the spot where something should happen soon. And so i'm more apprehensive. I'm more worried about it. I don't think anybody knows what's going to happen next, until it happens, and then we will know. And none of us will be disappointed. It's probably going to be like when the disciples were in the boat. Jesus is coming to them walking on the water in the night. "Fear not, for it is I. God will be in charge of every minute of it. And we will know exactly what is happening, while others will think that the world is ending, we will know how the story ends and where we're going. We will not grieve as others do that have no hope.

Yeah, I don't think the Rapture is tied to a feast day either, I think the remaining will be fulfilled in His Second Coming. But I suppose that's as good an answer as any about praying and waiting. We know He is faithful to His promises. Just some insight would be great!

It seems appropriate that he woke a lot of people up around 9/23/17 and waiting until 6/30/18 or even beyond is a very short time in light of the past 2000 years, right? Also, maybe He wants to see how many believe what He revealed and how many are content to fall back asleep / go back to their regularly scheduled lives. Just sayin'.

What this guy is saying is probably exactly how many thousands of Christians have been feeling since September 23, and all the way back to 2015. I don't think any of us are alone in this.

Oh, and by the way, we should all remember, it could happen ANY day. It does not need to align with anything. God is not on our schedule we have a lot of preconceived notions...all of which have been wrong so far.

Jesus spoke many a parable about the Kingdom of God (which is to reign). Jesus and the redemption of us sinning mankind is played out all thruout the OT..showing us His Law, His Plan, His Righteousness, His Truth against the world's perception and man's will. What is Revelation talking about? Is it not about how the final Kingdom come to rule? crushing the iron and the clay feet? Is it more important to rest in His authority than to look to be in the safe haven of His Wing? Hate me for saying this, but for those of you who are needing a refreshing, please revisit the Restoration thread, which brings a gob of scripture about God's character revealed in the OT and new. Restoration of all thingsAnd from there, go to the Kingdom of God thread... Kingdom of GodThe question to my fellow brethren: is it about going to heaven or being Raptured? or is about returning and reclaiming God's Creation back to the way it was before the Fall? What is the purpose for Jesus to walk the earth and proclaim the Good News? it was stated in Matthew Jesus was preaching the gospel (Mt 4) What is the Good News? is it perhaps the WAY of undoing what was the original sin? DISOBEDIENCE? Much love to each and every one of my fellow brothers and sisters, no matter what we have done in our lives, we are all sinners, we are all disobedient to the Father, and we all will overcome this lawlessness that is within each one of our hearts. It was there with the Adam, and it is FINISHED on the Cross...we need to live FAITH in THAT! Amen?!?

About a month ago I tried to figure out how long I've been watching for and discovered God has called me to watch for more than a year. I was pondering watching when I figured out that I have been watching a lot shorter than many others. So what if it is longer than a year? I haven't gone back to normal life and I'm not burying my head in the sand but I am living life and enjoying and making memories of the days that I have. (Not that we remember our old lives-lol) Occasionally I will speak about things if the topic comes up.

It was there with the Adam, and it is FINISHED on the Cross...we need to live FAITH in THAT! Amen?!? I would like to comment on just the one question posed by BSG to the fellow brethren - "is it about going to heaven or being Raptured? or is about returning and reclaiming God's Creation back to the way it was before the Fall?" The redemption of our bodies. Without us raising to life as firstfruits our faith is in vain and as Paul says we are miserable if we only have faith in Christ. Read that and let it sink in folks. If we only believe in Christ and have no hope to be resurrected, we are miserable. Nope Mike didnt say this the Holy Spirit did through Paul. So yes I'd say being Raptured and/or raised from the dead one day is my hope. Returning and reclaiming God's creation - We come with Him to reclaim what is already His and He is the conqueror who defeats the enemies not us, we reclaim nothing in and of ourselves. Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected [the same] in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it].
1Cor 15:15 Yea, and we are found FALSE witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

yes, mike we have that blessed Hope, no argument there. Absolutely we have that assurance In Christ.. My point was to emphasize God's authority over the matter, and we should have that comfort, even if we find ourselves status quo for those of us who are remaining, that He will see through to this Promise for us. To be clearer, and it looks like I should have worded it better, the reclaiming is HIS doing not ours. Revelation shows the battle that has been and will be going on until His Kingdom reigns over all. Rapture yes, and even moreso the glorious victory over lawlessness. We see so much going on around us, it is frustrating, sad, scary for some, depressing, and worrisome. We followers of Christ will overcome! Rest assured!

Before I heard about the great sign happening on Sept. 23rd last year, my mind was mostly on trying to do what's right in the Father's eyes and learning how to have faith. I knew in my heart that the rapture would happen someday and I believed I would be 'in that number'. My heart longed for the day when He made "all things new" Rev.21:5 I knew the battle, on His part, was already won. The hard part for me was/is staying on task and stripping my heart of the old flesh. I am so hard headed I wanted to keep to doing it my way and learning to rely on Jesus to walk me through my very 'death', so to speak, is hard(in my mind), but not hard at the same time, Matt 11:29-30. So when the great sign was imminent my focus did definitely align toward that hope that the rapture was months, weeks, possibly even days away. It was hard not to think about it. Even so, I do agree that it is about bringing the Father's creation back to the way it was, or more specifically, finishing the job where Adam dropped the ball. Of course, we have the advantage of having the Holy Spirit dwelling in us to convict us when we err, plus 6000 years of history to learn from that Adam did not have.

Personally, I'm done looking at Jewish feast days. I'll take 9/23/17 + 280 days (human gestation period) for 6/30/2018. But who knows? LOL I am asking God the same thing and the only answer I am getting back is "can you not stay awake and pray for 1 year?" In the Bible, we are identified with Christ, not the Law. Therefore, our timeline shouldn't be measured along with feasts defined by the Law IMO. But there is a book in the Old Testament IMO that is completely misunderstood and perverted by those in the world and in the church: the Song of Solomon. I think it is an eschatological timeline. Jesus was referencing it when He gave us the Parable of the Ten Virgins. In the context of worldly sexual innuendo, it seems a love poem. In the context of terms and poetry as they are used in the Bible, I think it's more about Christ and His bride. For instance, look at this line: 13 A bundle of myrrh is my beloved to me, That lies all night between my breasts. 14 My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blooms In the vineyards of En Gedi. Myrrh is a burial ointment that the Magi brought to Joseph and Mary. They brought three gifts that symbolize the then-future roles that the Messiah would take: gold, a gift to a King, frankincense, a gift to a priest, and myrrh, a gift to a sacrifice. It's between her breasts, over her heart a place that has throughout history women have held that which is most dear to them. Ergo, Christ's bride holds His sacrifice closest to her heart. Salvation is not by works, but faith, and is on the promise of the atoning sacrifice that Christ made for all sins for all time. Henna blooms were planted around vineyards to keep animals away from the vineyards. What do vineyards represent in the Bible? Read SoS with the context that chapters 3-4 are to the wise virgins that believed in Christ, and chapters 5-8 being the foolish virgins that miss Him. Why is there 10 virgins and not two in Matthew 25? Reread SoS and compare every term and image to uses elsewhere in the Bible. Remember when doing research that the veil that the Jews have over scripture is lifted away in Christ (2 Cor 3). Now, where am I going with this? Read SoS 2:8-13: 13 The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes Leaping upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills. 9 My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold, he stands behind our wall; He is looking through the windows, Gazing through the lattice.
10 My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. 11 For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away!
14 “O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.” Read the clues in regards to the seasons. Is this allegorical, referencing a specific time in human history, or referencing a specific time of year (if we use national Israel as the reference), or both? If the latter, what time does v.11-13 indicate? What has the church celebrated traditionally around that time? There may be a hint in Acts 1:3 IMO. Remember that Passover (Pasch) is based on the lunar calendar and moves year-to-year. The date of the rapture may have been in front of our faces for over 1700 years. I don't mean this as another attempt at date-setting, I mean this as something to consider when determining the signs of His coming.
