Hi savedbygrace, if you have any more trouble with getting locked out please feel free to private message me a screenshot if you see an error (you would just click on my name on the left and then click "Send Message"). -Gary Hi Gary, I think the problem that I am having with the forum is that I am a member of a homeschool mom's forum that is also ran through proboards. Every time I try to log in here, it was using my other log in name/password because proboards is recognizing that. I do think I have it figured out now but will surely let you know if I continue to run into problems Thanks! ~Wendy

watchmanjim,
Sometimes I am so unsure what to do. Again, my youngest two (8 and 6yo boys) have not seen the Star Wars movies. Dh & I both agree they are too young. But our teens have. We both grew up on the movies and felt like once they were able to handle the violence and themes in the movies, it was ok to let them see them. Same for LOTR, though only my 14yo has watched those movies. It is so difficult to distance yourself once you have 'invited' those things into your home. We haven't gotten into super heros and I am not sure what Manga is...sounds like that is a good thing lol...I very much feel these things are distractions and ones we do not need :/

I understand. It has been a struggle in my home to have the necessary discernment. And willpower.
"All these vain things, that charm me most--I sacrifice them to His blood."
