About six months ago I made a comment on an article about the image of the beast being a robot or AI of some sort, and the anti christ having similar traits (possible artificial enhancements). Pure speculation of course.
My comment was promptly deleted...
And now an article like this comes out. Wish I could remember where I read that article at.

Wow. This article also mentions a "Christian" Transhumanist Association!!! "Christian" and "Transhumanist" are mutually exclusive. Here is the section:
"Founding Chair of the Christian Transhumanist Association Christopher Benek admitted that “the church does a terrible job of reaching out to Silicon Valley types.” In an age ruled by the meteoric rise of technology — deity or not — that is a truly massive oversight. But Benek will not accept that artificial intelligence must be an alternative to Christ. Rather, that as another gift of what he believes is humanity’s God-given intellect, “AI can participate in Christ’s redemptive purposes.”

Sounds like another golden calf to me. Amazing how people refuse to learn from history.
Also makes me think of Rev. 13:15 "And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed."

Part of this new AI religion is that they are talking about creating a NEW GODHEAD, and update to God, and they even go so far as to say it's something for the world to worship! They're not hiding it anymore, it's all in the open. They're talking about making a god to worship! How anyone in the world doesn't see the prophecy God gave us unfolding is beyond me. And what's scary is they're all going to fall for it and worship this abomination. I'm stupified by this, absolutely mind blown that anyone could think to worship this crap. And to know how many of my friends are going to willingly participate is saddening.
It's going to start off as a 'wonderful idea' and then when they all willingly submit to it, it turns on them all and kills em. God save us.
