September 6th, which is 4 days away is the full moon. Not sure what the tides will be doing on the east coast at that time, but could this be trouble? Wasn't Sandy worse because the NY coast was in high tide? Sandy came at high tide and there was a fairly strong low pressure system that it combined with and became much stronger as it made landfall

This one gave me chills with the updated possible projection and with the wave height around the eye wall. I kept thinking, "sea and waves roaring..."

someone somewhere was asking about two hurricanes making landfall in the US. I don't remember the exact question, so I don't really think this is the answer that they were looking for, but a weather guy I follow on Facebook posted that it has been 102 years since two Cat 4 hurricanes made landfall in the US in the same year.
I don't know what strength Irma is, but I've been praying that God would turn her back out to sea, if it be His will.

Yeah there are several models showing possibilities. I live close to NYC, so I'm hoping not. Everything (non-concrete) would be destroyed here as nothing is built for that type of wind. I dont believe a 5 is possible as the water temps in the Atlantic are about 72* so if it gets to a 5, it would weaken. Although even a 3 would be extremely devastating to this area. I believe the eclipse was the warning. This will hit someplace, and I believe either another 'cane or earthquake or some other disaster soon to follow. PS - I saw terrible flooding from Harvey through TN and another state (WV?) as well Yeah we were living near D.C. when Sandy came in. It wasn't even a hurricane by the time it made landfall, if I remember correctly, but the storm surge was devastating all the way up to New York City and thereabouts. I can't imagine what an actual hurricane might do. Scary. Keep your eye on it and stay safe. Maybe go ahead and start preparing food, water, supplies, extra gasoline before everyone else gets the same idea. Can the US survive, economically, another major hurricane disaster, especially along the Atlantic seaboard? Do you still live in MD? Maybe we are close to each other.

Hey, watchmanjim, you can be proud of me here! I actually embedded the video in the post, since you taught me how to do that in another thread! How do you do it? I'd like to know too! (Although if it is complicated... just that I'm not good with technology).

Looks like it's just going to be one storm after another. My prayer is that it dies down and that these storms wake people up to their need for Christ. This is my prayer too Natalie. I certainly do not wish for destruction and especially not for death. But I'm praying so hard for people to wake up!!! In my opinion, God has already made it VERY OBVIOUS that He is coming and SOON! But it is so frustrating, because aside from y'all on this board NO ONE, not even those who claim Salvation through Jesus Christ (and the weird thing about it is they are the WORST ONES; worse than complete unbelievers when it comes to the unbelief and the scoffing and just plain nastiness and downright disgusting and UN-Christian behavior). Lord, please wake them up!!!

I go there because really, they are a good source of actual and true news. There are some Christians there, but definitely wouldn't consider it a Christian place. Anyways though, they post about something called remote viewing (not sure even exactly what it is but do know enough about it that I don't think it is something God wants us doing). It is eerie though, how accurate those people who do it are. The other day I was reading over there and they were all abuzz because of some remote viewing thing which predicted 2 devastating hurricanes hitting the USA followed by a HUGE earthquake. So... I don't know. When I read it though I thought of Harvey, then Irma which if it hits and where ever it would hit at would do so around 9-11. And then the thought that came into my head after was that there would be a huge earthquake as "the dragon" casts his fallen 1/3 angels/stars down and right after he does that or maybe at the same time he does that "we His Body" are going up!

Remote viewing is scary stuff-- But you wouldn't need to view much if you're working for the enemy, especially if an earthquake will accompany the resurrection-- just watch the weather conditions particularly off the coast of Africa (after all, if *we* can predict hurricanes during a rough season, the enemy's been around a whole lot longer), look for that *&^% sign on the 23rd, then show it to some folks dabbling in occult practices-- And there you go! Instant prophetic credibility

I was just thinking last night...if the US is hit with two (or three) major hurricanes in different places, and the rapture, possibly throw in a big earthquake out west or New Madrid, then the US is going to be way too busy to help Israel fight off Russia and it's buddies.

Here's the most recent update I've seen, and Irma is now a Category 4 with another storm behind it...

(Although if it is complicated... just that I'm not good with technology). I'm not either, tiffanybw! Thankfully, this one is easy. In order to embed a video, you'll need to choose the yellow "Reply" rather than the "Quick Reply." After you've typed your post, click on the little symbol that looks like a movie thingy (it will say "Insert Video" when you hover over it). That will bring up a little window where you can insert the webpage address of the video you want to embed. Then click on "Insert Video," and it should do the job!

Yes, you are right about remote viewing being something to stay away from, tiffanybw! It is a type of clairvoyance, a psychic practice. Here is a Wikipedia article about it.

We were there just for a year with my hub's work. Now we're back in New Mexico until our house sells and we move to OK or Jesus gets us.
