Coming from a guy who says Islam is where the Beast comes from you might ought to not worry about what Tennessee posts. Here is the truth, ALL Old Religions not of God were of Satan, these are FACTS. All of the Spirit manifestations therefore were of Devils they saw in the Spirit World, so if Demons look similar, I imagine they will be shown as similar when people recreate what they have seen, even if those people 1000s of years ago never met each other. I could say SHAME on you for getting the Beast wrong (IMHO), but people are entitled to an opinion, even when wrong. Why don't you try uplifting people for a change. When I hurt someone's feeling, it bothers me, even if I know I am leading them towards the truth, I don't want them to think I do not care about their opinion. But you just place SHAME, you don't even give anyone's opinion the courtesy they deserve. I don't know what your problem is brother, but I love you anyway, Jesus didn't go around trying to bully his ideas onto people, and he didn't hear untruths either. You are like the Pharisees, Jesus called them devils because they understood the word, gave an appearance before people but their hearts did not follow the word, that's why they did not know Jesus, its far more important to love your brother and sister than to be right or wrong !! Paul said I will be ALL THINGS to ALL PEOPLE that I might win souls. Its far more important to love each other than to be right or wrong. Understanding the Holy Spirits nudging for 35 years, I know 100 percent when something is of God or not. I went 30 years not attesting to know all of these things I now testify to 100 percent, because I refuse to ever say something is of God until I know, that I know, that I know its of God, I never guess and say the Holy Spirit showed me this. NEVER, unless He did, and I know the difference, I might go 30 years and never say this is what this means, but when I do say it, that is what it means. When you get to heaven brother, you will see all of these truths, but the most important truth is we must love each other and uplift each other and respect each other, not be at each others throats over trivial trivialities. Since I understand the voice of the Holy Spirit, I will listen to you or anyone, but, once the Holy Spirit tells me his facts, why would I ever change? It might be beneficial to all of us here for you to use your research skills to source relevant information about some of the topics on the article. Some examples may include: What is the root word(s) of "alebrijes"? Is it Spanish? Mayan? What are the parallels to the beast described in Daniel, and what are the differences? Spell them out for us here. Not because we 'just dont get it'; but because that way you support your position and the assertions you have made above. You also can explain to/teach those who are less insightful where you are getting your arguments/information/position. This bolsters your credibility, and allows those who are more capable of following your logic to see what you see. Where in scripture might we possibly find information that corroborates acrhaeological and historical references for the description? Setting aside for the moment that the article in question has more than a little click-bait 'value'. What archaeological information might refer to the above object of the 'news' article? Where does it disprove the author's assertions? A bald assertion helps no one; so help us (and help yourself) by dissecting the article and pointing out the flaws and strengths of it in detail. |

Be careful with the words you use. Implications can be picked up on by others and may be construed as hypocrisy on your part.
I highly recommend a heavy sprinkling of qualification to statements that are made, especially when they are related to opinion and hypothesis. |

The one on the left looks kind of gothic; gargoyle type, and reminds me of the movie "Ghostbusters," and the one on the right looks modern day cartoonish. It really shows how fallen our world is to have these kinds of things standing while historical things of real value are torn down. The same condition exists with the U. S. Constitution that is infected with all manner of sickness from both the left and right. It seems that that document was written for a self governing people and we have degenerated into a people that can not self govern IMO. As I understand the metals that are used metaphorically in scripture, the Constitution was written by those being silver. I can not remember where that verse is, but it is also my interpretation of that verse; so it is my opinion. Whereas, now days we are not presided over by those being silver but iron and clay. And that makes me laugh and is again my opinion  . We are coming to a time that we will be governed by gold; as in, followers of Christ. Like, "buy of me gold" Rev. 3:18 that we are to purchase through the Savior those things that are from him: golden. So our constitution is silver IMO that can only govern those being silver or gold. It was never created to govern the wicked. It is good to see these degenerate symbols to remind us of the wicked world that we live in that is dominated by the iron and clay. It is only natural that the gargoyle type is standing at the U. N. that has no allegiance to the Savior or his silver and gold. I do not know about Daniel and the application of the metals there, but for some reason Babylon was represented by the gold and Persia by the silver. Like, Israel was in Babylon and freed by Persia. But the four in Chapter 7 do not have metals assigned and this seems to suggest that they are neither silver or gold but of a lower order of kingdom and people absent of Israel. The U. N. gargoyle could apply to any of those degenerates IMO as well as the people of the world today. |

He called you guys out and said you should be ASHAMED of letting her post. I was juxtaposing what it would be like IF everyone who disagree did the same thing. Me and Mike disagree on the Rapture, but we respect each others opinion. Last week everyone who didn't go to church was not a real Christian to him. This week he's shaming you guys for allowing her post. My point was every time we disagree we don't have to do that. I wasn't doing that myself. I said I COULD do that, which is what he did by calling SHAME on you guys for allowing the post. I am not accusing him, its his own post right below in red.....And last week calling out people who don't go to Church as non Christians. My point was that if we disagree, we should do so in love, no in a hostile tone, which seems to be his way, he like confrontation, and calling people out. Tennessee posts are always thought provoking to me. I read but don't reply sometimes fir weeks or months but I still read. I like to read others thoughts. The reason I stated I quit reading his posts was he told me he was to busy to read any replies (Really). So, there is no hope for discourse. I did not quit reading for any other reason. rondonmonson - When I originally read But then when I read the article it led me to reason that schooldad3 was referring to CBN web page not ours. Now something I would ask schooldad to consider is the Jaguar and the Lion. Both are from the feline family, however the Lion is native to Asia & Africa, while Jaguars are not found there but only in the Americas. Switch a gears with me for a moment...It is likely that you are familiar with stories like the epic of Gilgamesh? Or other accounts of the flood that are not the account we see in scripture. Why is it that these stories that we have in other sources come close to the truth, but are variations and/or perversions of it? Its a bit like the telephone game if you're familar. Is it possible these ancient people in the Americas had the knowledge of stories like that of Daniel, but due to their lack of adherence to the true God and His words the story changed over time? It went from Lion to great cat to Jaguar in the Americas? Is it at all feasible that the people who carved or made this chimera are simply deceived into believing whatever story they hold true in their darkened minds? Does it really matter that this is not a lion and is a colorful rendition of what they think is real? Whatever their understanding it is not a correct version. They have been and remain deceived. This is not the specific beast named but is close. Could it also be that when we actually read the verse properly we see the word "LIKE". The verse does not say it IS a lion, but LIKE a lion. Is a Jaguar LIKE a lion? Would Daniel recognize a Jaguar or describe it as something he was familiar with? - Just asking us to think these things through

Which reminds me of the "rebellious" that is often spoken of in scripture that are those who can rebel from what they know to be true. Thus, the rebellious are the saints of God that have rebelled against the Savior.
