Is the European Union unraveling?

Mike, what I find interesting is that we had a couple things happen to get us here. 

1. WW1 in 1914 caused massive immigration which was unpopular and caused many nations to rebuke immigrants and become xenophobic
2. The Great Depression started in 1929. Tariffs are used on other nations to make them pay for various things squeezing their economies.
3. The Third Reich began in 1933; immigration continues to grow from war and more nations become xenophobic and nationalistic
4. WW2 started in 1939
5. Israel became a nation in 1948

The similarities are thus:
1. 9/11 in 2001 causes a war on terror that spans the globe including multiple nations
2. Wars in the middle east (Arab Spring; Libya and Iraq freed from Sadaam and Ghadafi)
3. These wars caused a population explosion in the form of immigration to Europe and abroad from the middle east and become widely unpopular in Western nations causing some nations to be more nationalistic
4. Drug wars in Mexico, south and central America cause massive immigration to move northwards to the USA and Canada fueling nationalistic undertones and opposition to immigrants fleeing terror
5. President Trump has remove the US from multiple world programs in order to move us to a more isolationist government with a America first platform. Exactly what nations did against Britain between WW1 and WW2.
6. As the world moves backwards towards WW2 and before that time, we are now fighting against a world wide illness called Covid-19 which is destabilizing nations, creating an economic disaster, disrupting food supplies, creating a wealth gap and causing a large unemployment rate possibly bigger then the great depression. 

Where does that lead us and why are there so many similarities? Not to mention, if Christ had resurrected in 30AD and begun his missionary work in 27ad, we are 10 years from the 2k yr resurrection of Christ and 28 years from Israel's 100th birthday as a nation since 1948.
BTW, as I chart all this, the following viruses were discovered not that long ago and they are coming faster:

1. West Nile Virus 1937
2. Zika 1947
3. Ebola 1976
4. AIDS 1981
5. Avian Bird Flu 1997
6. Corona Virus 2 2019

Not to mention MERS, Sars 1 and a multitude of other ones.

Why do the times today reflect us moving back to the times before WW2? They had the roaring twenties and then depression, We had great prosperity until covid 19. Does the beast of the sea and earth come next and then the war?
As you asked earlier, is the persecution of believers next...seeing where we are in all this and how we are being driven back to nations more isolated and for themselves laying heavy tarrifs on each other brewing up future wars and untrust. 

EDIT: I know some think the 7th beast head is Rome, others Ottoman...I have believed it to be Nazi Germany when it aligned with the Ottomans. That being, Germany aligned with the Ottomans gave them access to Israel and they persecuted Jews in the holocaust.  This access to both things (Israel and the Jews) follows Babylons, Grecian, Persian empires.  Was the Third Reich a forerunner of what is to come? What happens when immigration pushes people to adopt nationalistic policies and economies are forced to levy tariffs against others (a heavy yoke) and these things push people to war....

so venge, you see this as a 'repeat' (or near similar) of past history (Nothin new under the sun - Ecc 1:9).
