Trump just declared himself God. What is he thinking. I cannot vote for any man that takes praise as God or lifts himself up as God. 2 separate articles. 1 with him saying hes the chosen one and an earlier one he tweets a reply about it. Never have I heard a man in power think its ok to equate himself with God, so that he as God sits in the temple of God as if he is God...but hes just a man. The pride is horrific. theweek.com/speedreads/860276/trump-chosenwww.iheart.com/content/2019-08-21-trump-tweets-claim-from-radio-host-that-hes-king-of-israel/BTW, one only needs to acknowledge it and believe it or not refute it for it to be true. That is, he doesn't need to say I am God, but someone else calling him that and him not refuting it is enough to say, he says it in his heart.

wow! this reminds me of the pope's address to the U.N. General assembly in September of 2015, "I come in my own name", which Jesus Himself warned about. "I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him." John 5:43
We are sooooo close.
Could the White House be considered a temple? The term used in 2 Thess. 2:4 is "Theou" or "Theos" 4:Θεός is used of whatever can in any respect be likened to God, or resembles him in any way
The White House does look similar to an ancient Greek or Roman temple.

I don't know about that but I cant believe he has made statements that are just....sad. Though, I don't see him as a 11th horn. Who are the first 10? Im not saying this is 100% the man of sin but anyone in power agreeing with another that they are the messiah or hinting to it....its just not right.

I was in another frame of thought regarding things, and revisiting this part from Paul, but it seems it could fit here as a reminder to all "watching":
9There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
11For there is no partiality with God. 12For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; 13for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. 14For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.
the signs of His coming have been shouting at us for quite awhile and it does not have ALL to do with the piece of real estate across the big pond. It is more than that, as Paul has been preaching.
The reason perhaps, why you venge are having trouble lining up who is the 10 this or that is because Revelation's numbers are not literal, but represent something else.
Ten is also viewed as a complete and perfect number, as is 3, 7 and 12. It is made up of 4, the number of the physical creation, and 6, the number of man. As such, 10 signifies testimony, law, responsibility and the completeness of order.
So, the 10 and the 7 of the beast and the dragon is not "literal" but a representation that it is complete, done, fulfillment of, oh, let's just say, the TIME of the gentiles. as an example. You do not need a literal 10 kings when it comes from the vision from the point of view of the Spirit, in regards to the Revealing of the Word of Truth, the Lord, the Christ, the Heir, the High Priest, the ruling King that was shown to JOHN, not Daniel.

Hello all!
Do y’all think it’s weird that President Trump is being called the “King of Israel” and the “Antichrist”? Both terms were trending on Twitter a couple of days ago and I was wondering if it was a little odd that in this dark world, and especially how different this President is from past officeholders, that these terms were trending. I was wondering from these comments that believers could potentially think that President Trump is the Antichrist. Do y’all think that it’s weird that “King of Israel” and “Antichrist” is trending on Twitter?

Going to combine this with a very similar topical thread already in progress.

I, of course, would never joke about the harm of our sitting President, but all of this reminds me of the account of Herod’s death in Acts 12:20-23
Verse 20 “On an appointed day Herod, having put on his royal apparel, took his seat on the rostrum and began delivering an address to them. 23 The people kept crying out, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.”
