Ok..y’all had me paranoid that I was losing my mind so I tried the experiment again....
Got my headphones again and turned off the lights. Lit a few candles and made myself nice bubble bath. Poured myself a nice glass of wine and just let Trunp’s velvety smooth words tickle my eardrums again...
Still heard more.
But then again I was the only one in my circle who heard Laurel on the other video I posted.

My 12 yr old daughter and 21 year old step son listened and both hear "war".
We're wondering what the teleprompter said

Personally I hope he said war because it means me would be that much closer to going home, but I personally didn’t hear war. Mike I think your explanation a few posts earlier makes sense about him taking an odd pause and him pronouncing it weirdly. also, you would probably be able to hear some Ooohhhhs and aaaawwweeess from the crowd if he actually said war. |

Got to say President Trump is one of 3 outstanding Presidents in my lifetime, he puts us and our country first, he is my favorite so far of the 3. Kennedy, Reagan, Trump.
And at least you hear one of the choices of the Laurel-Yanny debate. I heard yammy, wonder what that makes me, lol.

Update...I asked 7 people to listen to that clip. They all said they heard war.
Apparently I need to get my ears checked.

Hubby and I watched the speech last night, he hadn't seen it yet and I asked him what he heard that was said, I backed up the speech again and he said he heard war.
I didn't let him know about the word war before either because I didn't want to taint what he would hear.

That is a good check -- let someone listen without informing them what other's have heard.....
Context wise I would say it had to be "MORE" --- but every time I listen I still think I hear "war"....

Also of note from the shoutbox, EnochWalked pointed out that Trump was reading off a Teleprompter. see below
EnochWalked: soup: Yup, it has to be "war". The "w" of "war" matches the "w" of the subsequent word "will". If he was slipping over the words/sounds, like a Spoonerism, then the second word should have been unclear (e.g. "mill"), but it wasn't.
EnochWalked: Also, on a teleprompter, the words "war" and "more" look nothing alike, so there is no reason he would have misread it. The official transcript apparently says "more":

My (final) thoughts on this are: How can some Italian goofball from Jersey and his friends here at Unsealed be the only people who notice this seemingly very very obvious mis-pronunciation of "More" as "war" and no one in the media is mentioning it? I mean c'mon! Everyone here but Soup can see that he said war. No one in the media notices that? Those who hate Trump and see him as a "this" or "that" wouldnt bring this up to stir the pot and cause an outrage? Really?
