My 9-year-old daughter had a demonic dream last night. It frightened her immensely. She is so innocent about these things she doesn't even recognize demons for what they are when she sees them. She called it a person, but the description, including its ability to magically appear and disappear were very demonic. She said its eyes were about three times larger than a normal person's eyes, and were the only part of its body visible, since it was wrapped in brown cloth. She said it popped up out of her floor vent in her room in her dream, and she ran in to us screaming (in her dream).
She didn't tell me about the dream until this evening. I didn't explain to her specifically that she was dealing with demons. But I did remind her she can call out to Jesus for help if she has nightmares like that.
She knows and loves the Lord. I'm thankful she handled it as well as she did.

That is the very best of guidance you could give her, watchmanjim! I have had some pretty terrible, frightening nightmares over the years ever since I was a little girl all the way up to the present, and when I eventually heard someone give that same advice, it made things so much better. I still have occasional nightmares, but I have been able to remember to call out to Jesus and the nightmares do end when I call on Him. Sometimes I have woken myself and my husband literally yelling out for Jesus when I am having a nightmare.

Way to go, preparing her young to handle these situations. The devil prowls around like a roaring lion, but I suspect he won't have much success with you and your daughter.
