The Catalan situation has got me thinking about how there will eventually be no way out of the March towards One World Government. We are seeing the future of democracy being turned on its side and a pseudo-democracy is taking its place.
If you don't agree with what they want, they will use polls against you. It is very rare to see overwhelming support in favor of one candidate in democracy, but they use the lack of having greater than 60% of a vote as "proof" your candidate or cause doesn't have enough backing to it.
I see this all the time in Canadian politics. The Liberals love to claim the Conservatives didn't have support on something but when the tables are turned and they are in power, well it is another story.
I found this Catalan quote interesting:
"Rajoy, who said on Wednesday that he expected the election to bring "a new political era of coexistence" to Catalonia, is betting that Catalans have got his straightforward message: Secessionism doesn't work, business will leave Catalonia (more than 2,000 companies have already redomiciled in other regions of Spain), no one will recognize an independent Catalonia, and ringleaders will go to jail so voting for them to do more of the same is pointless"

A straightforward message: Don't try to leave. Wow!
We have lived with the wool over our eyes for a long time. We have believed in democracy as allowing us to make peaceful decisions. Nothing is further from the truth now as the Left Wing Governments and the people backing them, or the opposition of Left Wing groups becoming more and more vocal have drastically changed the fabric of our society as a whole.

Large "C" Christians in my home province are no longer able to adopt. If you were small "c" and answered the questions not as you truthfully believe, maybe you would still be able to be put on the waiting list. So sad, as I had wanted to adopt one day and it looks like that door has now closed for me.
