An article came out about how in the 2016 Canadian Census the number of Jews in Canada has seen a dramatic decline. It lists a number of reasons to explain what has happened. www.ctvnews.ca/mobile/canada/jewish-groups-question-census-results-showing-dramatic-population-decline-1.3658440 "The findings then have potential implications for other ethnic groups that use the census figures to lobby governments on policy and help community groups make decisions about where to invest resources and programs." That means that groups such as Islamic groups will have the right to more Government funding because they have a larger population.

From what I understand from all this is that God is moving the Jews back to Israel. There have been more and more each year.

I just did some googling to see what the numbers are. Here are a couple of sources: Israel sees drop in aliya numbers www.jpost.com/Diaspora/Israel-sees-drop-in-aliya-numbers-476903Total Immigration to Israel by Year: www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/total-immigration-to-israel-by-yearIt looks like they had far more immigration back in the 90's by a long shot. I can't remember what happened back in the 90's to cause that, but some years saw 5 or 6 times as many immigrants as they have been seeing since 2000.

God's been moving the Jews back to Israel since 1948. The fact that aliya is decreasing is making me wonder how many more Jews are left to return to Israel before the Lord returns. This goes back to May 2017, so I'm pretty sure this number has increased since then with aliya flights over the summer. www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/latest-population-statistics-for-israel

good point MikeTaft - maybe there arent as many to return or the vast majority that will go back are almost there. Is there any scriputre or allusion that "every Jew" goes back to Israel? (I dont think so but...)

(I dont think so but...) Here are a few scriptures pertaining to the collection of the people of Israel in the Old Testament (Jer. 23:3; Isa. 11:11-12, 16; Jer. 31:7-8; 32:37). I have yet to find anything that says ALL the Jews have to return. Then again how many Jews are ethnic Jews? There are Gentile converts to Judaism, do they count? I don't know. The also isn't anything that says they all have to be gathered before the Lord's appearing (rapture) either. I believe (and this is just my opinion) with most evidence shown on the world scene and in the heavens, that a great majority of Jews have already returned to Israel, and God only has a few population centers in the world to go.

Here is a table showing the Jewish population by country: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_population_by_country#TableThe 2 countries with the most Jews are Israel with 6.4 million and the US with 5.3 to 7 million. No other country has even a half million. The total world Jewish population is 14.2 million, so Israel doesn't yet have even half of the worldwide population yet. The US accounts for the vast majority of Jews not yet in Israel and has almost the same or more Jews than Israel. Since so many Jews these days don't even count themselves as religious, maybe that is why so many have not yet gone to Israel. For US Jews, they may figure it is a lot safer here.

both links work fine for me on my laptop.
I tend to think that they feel safe here, also. There is no need to go to Israel. I also wonder if that will change after the rapture. Those who would most side with and protect them will be gone.

Those who would most side with and protect them will be gone. It may very well be. I've discussed in other threads that I think the US is not going to be a "safe" country for much longer. God willing we'll be outta here before that happens.

It's definitely getting less safe all the time. Today we had a terrorist attack in NYC and a mass shooting in a Walmart in Colorado. This is beginning to be the norm. I think it's part of the labor pains.

I wonder if there is a pattern, based upon which party holds the white house, of either shootings/terrorist attacks or civil rioting...
hmmm...
